The unit has been lovingly updated, with nearly everything brand new in 2025 - beds, furniture, dishwasher, w/d, kitchen supplies, TV, outdoor grill, etc. There are even new mini-split A/C units in each bedroom for optimal comfort in the summer heat. This light and airy 2 bed/1 bath is ideal for small families, with a queen-sized bed, 2 twin-sized beds, and a queen-sized pullout sofa with Serta mattress. Just a short 5 minute walk to the bay beach and playground or 6 minutes to the ocean (w/ ADA compliant entry), this location is the best of both worlds. Our street is 1 of only 4 in Ship Bottom with bay beach access, and 1 of 2 with ADA compliant entries! There is a huge shared backyard with new gas grill and picnic area, as well as a newly renovated bottom Trex deck and outdoor shower for your private use. You can literally walk to the Bank of America (the only BOA on the island!), Ship Bottom municipal complex, numerous restaurants, shops, and mini golf courses. Two designated off-street parking spaces for your private use, as well as plenty of on-street parking make this a great spot for friends to visit for the day as well. Includes use of 4 beach chairs and 4 badges that work at both bay and beach during your stay.
Our unit features a relaxed, minimalist coastal vibe with high-quality interiors - all real wood furniture, down-filled custom Sunbrella sofa, and decorative fireplace. The kitchen includes a brand new set of resilient Corelle dishware, stainless steel mixing bowls, glass cooking/storage Snapware, Cuisinart knives, brand new toaster/coffee pot/electric kettle, easy-to-clean ceramic cookware, all new glassware/silverware/cooking utensils, and even a full set of kid-friendly wheat straw dishware and cups (also perfect for eating on the deck!). I would stay again! Toni is a great and responsive host. We LOVED the space from the little details to how clean it was. Location is good even for the off season. We appreciated that the house was appropriate for children. Highly recommend.
