  • Why should I list my property on Vacation Rentals LBI?

    Listing on Vacation Rentals LBI makes it easy to earn rental income. We are a New Jersey based company with experience in both marketing and vacation rental management, on the Jersey Shore. We can offer you what the big box sites cannot, personal attention and targeted marketing to travelers who frequent the Jersey Shore for their vacations.

  • What do I get with my listing?

    Every listing comes with everything you need to start renting your property and earning income, including room for high-resolution photos, interactive Google map, Quick Quote, and reservation calendar. So once you sign up, you can start to build your listing... and get bookings!

  • I have a friend who wants to sign up, he is asking if there is a promo code, and if you also do anything for referrals?

    We appreciate referrals and as a thank you we add $50 to your account and ALSO give your friend who is signing up $50 off! There is no limit on the amount of referral bonuses you can earn, so if you know anyone else who can benefit from being listed on our site, please send them our way.

    To ensure you get the credit, please have them enter "friend" and your name (or your listing number) in the  referred by  box when they sign up, so I'll be able to recognize the referral and add credit to your account :)

  • Do my Renters have to pay the Short Term Rental Tax?

    NO! VRLBI is a "Classified Advertising" website that does not collect the payment or issue any rental contracts. So as long as the guest "books direct" with you or your Realtor, NO tax is due! Please consult your Tax Advisor for complete details.

  • I used to advertise with you – do I have to recreate my listing to get started again?

    If you decide to rent with us again, you do NOT have to recreate your listing, simply login to your existing owner account and re-activate!

  • How will an interested renter contact me?

    Renters will contact you directly by telephone or email through your listing. All rental advertisements provide the owner's contact information, however, your email address will be hidden from visitors. You may opt not to post your telephone number, which will leave any contacts going through the website inquiry form to you.

  • What is the cost to advertise a vacation rental?

    We offer four subscription based packages for you to list and manage your vacation rentals. See pricing for annual subscriptions  on Vacation Rentals LBI. There are no additional fees or commissions charged on any bookings generated from the website.

  • Do you process payments for reservations?
    No. We do not have payment processing in place for reservations. We feel it is best to leave it up to the individual homeowner to determine the best way to accept payments for reservations.

    Options for accepting payments for reservations include checks, of course. For accepting payments online, some options include using any of the following:

    • PayPal : There is a 2.5% - 2.9% Credit Card Transaction Fee. We recommend having a Business Standard Account to enable refunding deposits. Personal PayPal accounts allow only full refunds, not partial refunds. There is no monthly fee with a Business Standard Account. You can easily send invoices for payments and you can transfer money to your bank account free. With the Business Standard account you can also get a credit card reader that works on tablets and smart phones.
    • Square : There is a 2.9% Credit Card Transaction Fee. There is currently no online option for invoicing or paying online. All transactions require one of their credit card readers that works on tablets and smart phones.

    Of course, you are free to use whatever payment processing option you wish. We do not restrict you ability to choose whatever works best for you.

  • Can you create my listing for me?

    If there is currently an active listing online for your rental, YES! Just forward the link to your existing listing to our support team and we will schedule it for import. Currently, there is no fee for this service and it takes 48 - 72 hours once we have all of your information.

  • Can I include a second or third rental unit on my property listing?

    Yes. For multiple property listings (three of more), contact our support or sales team.
