RENOVATED 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath 'Reverse Living' family home in a great location, within walking distance to the Beach, the Bay, Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Thundering Surf Water Park, Miniature Golf, playgrounds, basketball courts and local restaurants, shopping, Chicken or the Egg and The Beach House. Our beautiful home is less than 10 years old, is in impeccable condition, and has 2 living areas and 4 bedrooms, including 2 master bedroom suites, one on each of the top floors. There are three decks, including a spacious roof deck with panoramic views of the island, and beautiful sunset views over the bay. Amenities include a gas grill, a stereo indoor-outdoor speaker system, central air conditioning, 2 microwave ovens, and a large fenced-in backyard. The remodeled kitchen has all new appliances. Is equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, disposal, microwave oven, blender, coffee pot, refrigerator, as well as pots and pans, utensils, and ample dishes, drinking glasses, etc. Pillows, blankets, mattress covers and comforters are provided. You will have to bring your own sheets and pillow cases. An elevator is available upon request for those with special needs. Note* An additional fee of $300 per week will charged for use of the elevator to help defray maintenance costs on the elevator. There is an outdoor shower which has hot and cold water. This is in the backyard which is a large, fenced in space. You can park your cars and you are within walking distance to all you need for the week, or you can venture out to explore all LBI has to offer. What makes this House unique
We enjoy the summer weeks in Beach Haven as it is such a family friendly place! So many activities as well as shopping and restaurants are within a short walk. We rarely use our car at all in the weeks that we spend there. The area is quiet, but still lively enough to keep everyone busy. The home is clean, spacious and comfortable, and the beaches are wonderful!

Policies
We strongly encourage RENTER to purchase Travel Insurance along with their reservation. A ‘Cancel for any Reason’ Travel Insurance Policy protects the RENTER’S investment in the event of unexpected and catastrophic events.
A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of making your reservation. The remaining 50% and security deposit will be due 45 days prior to arrival.

Great Owner, Location, Rooftop Deck
We rented Turtles Pace for this first time this Summer and it fit the bill nicely. We were comfortable right away thanks to Tony's communications and the house setup. The listing undersells the rooftop deck, too: it's great! Nicely lit at night and great views. The house was well stocked with things for the beach and for cooking. The kitchen appliances were nice and up to date. Tony was super responsive with any of our questions. Location in Beach Haven is great, especially for families. Access to everything but not too loud. We parked our cars (2 inside!) and never had to move them. The elevator was very nice to have for our senior parents. Not everything is brand new of course, but everything works well. Good sized backyard with potential. We didn't use it beyond the clothes line. Perfect for two couples and 6-8 kids. If you have more couples and less kids, then some adults will be sleeping on kids' beds.

Summer 2021
This was our second summer renting Turtles Pace. This home is just perfect for our family and we were very happy to return. It is so clean with cute beach decor. All shiny new appliances and kitchen amenities that make you feel like you are home. The elevator is essential for move in day! The reversed living is wonderful for my teen kids and their friends. The location is key for a great vacation…. Once you park you car you never need it again. We can’t wait to go back next summer.

Awesome home!
We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Loved the decks and spent alot of time on roof deck and we ate out on the second floor deck in the evening. Happy the awning was there which allowed us to block sun when out on deck eating. We walked everywhere as house has a great location. We were able to walk to beach, restaurants, bars, food shopping and Fantasy Island. My family was very happy with the living space and bedroom setups! Plenty of parking.
The owner was great to work with and always available if we had a question! Definitely will rent this house again!

Relaxing week and an AMAZING location!
This is one of those houses that makes you feel relaxed after just a few hours. Top points for us: it was clean, very spacious, lots of storage - even a "mudroom" off the garage with storage bins for beach items, another closet in the garage with extra beach chairs, crabbing equip., etc. Ample parking which was great since we had 2 teens who had to drive down after work. There are 2 spots in the driveway, street parking and off-street parking that doesn't require parking passes or meters. The garage is huge! Enough space for all of us to have a bike, tons of coolers, a jet ski and about a million pairs of flip-flops:) Roof top was the best part of the house for us! Literally, the best sunsets were from this deck...and I've seen some good ones! Beds were comfortable, there were hoses to rinse off sand and an outdoor shower. A master bedroom on top floor was very spacious and has its own master bath with stand up shower. My daughter asked why the carpet looked like a football field (the color green) - but hey, it was clean so we didn't care. If you are a serious cook, bring your own cookware. We did (okay, my brother in law did). The kitchen could use some updating, but hey, its the beach so who cares. Most of the items in the kitchen cabinets were of a mixed bag, but there were plenty of glasses and plates for all of us.
It was nice to have a second "living area" for the teens on the second floor. There's a washer and dryer on this level as well - so that was nice. Plenty of beds - my daughter stayed in a bottom bunk and said it was hard to sleep because it made so much noise when she moved around. (boo hoo, suck it up, you're at the beach)....other than that, we all enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.
Oh, the BEST part of the house....LOCATION! You literally can't find a better location if you enjoy arriving, parking your car and never using it again. The house is only a few streets from the waterpark, rides and a cool shopping area, BUT there is zero noise from all of it! We would ride our bikes home and comment on how when you got to the house, you couldn't hear the noise from the rides, etc. There are some amazing restaurants within walking /biking distance too. I gave the house 4 stars because it could some updating, but other than that, it would get a 5
Finally, it was nice dealing with an owner who ensured that we had an amazing stay. He was available throughout the process and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks, Tony! We will be back again!

Perfect Vacation Rental in Beach Haven
We stayed at Turtle's Pace for our family's summer vacation. Tony was great to deal with and the property was very clean and well-maintained. The sunsets from the roof deck were amazing. The location was perfect. We were able to park our cars for the week and walk to all the attractions and restaurants. Having 3 and half bathrooms plus an outside shower was wonderful for our large family. Beach Haven on LBI has always been a favorite location for our family. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to vacation on LBI. LBI is a perfect family destination.

Fantastic!!!
Again I stayed at turtles pace and it was a great experience. Tony was accessible if needed and the house was great. No need to use your car since everything was walkable. I can't say enough good things about this property. Everything that's expected and more. Thanks again Tony! Looking forward to next year!

Perfect house for a "tons of fun" vacation!
My family (my parents and my siblings and our children) just returned from our July week at Turtle's Pace in Beach Haven. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend this home for a relaxing family vacation!
The home is exactly as pictured - super clean and spacious! I was thrilled when we first walked in to see how bright, roomy,and clean the house was for our stay. Grandparents used the upstairs (big) master suite so that they would have the top floor to themselves at bedtime and tons of privacy. That floor also has the open floor plan kitchen, dining area, and living room with a nice eat-outside deck - all of which was perfect for when we all wanted to be together to prepare meals, eat or just hang out!
The next level down was perfect for my siblings and I are our kids. Two families used the two bedrooms and the main bath without feeling on top of one another. My sister (with a toddler) used the master suite on that floor with its own bathroom. Great for baby napping! That floor also had a small living room area - kids watched movies in the evening while the adults spent time upstairs or on the three different decks (rooftop was lovely!).
The best surprise was the basement level mudroom which was awesome - the kids would shower outside post beach and walk inside to leave towels etc. in the mudroom. Kept us organized and the mess stayed downstairs! Not to mention we fit three cars in the garage no problem when we wanted to.
Location was perfect! We walked to the beach in under 10 minutes (without kids faster!). Even better, we usually drove one car with our gear and each day we were easily able to park near the beach entrance for easy "run back home". We walked everywhere - ice cream (several great yummy spots), the amusement park (Fantasy Island), waterside dining (Parker's Garage - YUM!) and Bay Village (shops, dinner), and other stores. There is a produce market and a coffee/bagel place right on the corner. 7-11 up the street. A grocery store (Murphy's) walkable. The street the house is on was nice and quiet!!!
The owner was great - we were in contact over the past few months as we planned and he answered our questions promptly. Even had a few quick arrival questions that he answered immediately to help us get settled.
We had an amazing family week - thanks to the owner and for Beach Haven for being wonderful hosts! Wouldn't be surprised if everyone says, "Let's do it again next year!"

House was great
The house was very large and had plenty of room for multiple families, was kid friendly which made for a great vacation. The location was great close to the beach, restaurants,shopping, water park and amusement park. Tony was great throughout the whole process which really made things simple. Definitely recommend this house and will be staying there again.

Perfect Chowderfest Rental
My sister and I rented this house for Chowderfest and it was perfect! The location could not be better. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, bay and beach. We parked our car the moment we got there and did not use it again until we left. The open lay out upstairs was ideal for our group (6 adults and 1 child) to relax before going out to dinner. Tony was great to deal with and was very attentive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this house to others and are hoping to rent again!
