Waterfront, spectacular views in all directions, the house is located on Cedar Bonnet Island (where the Dutchman's Restaurant is, 200 Yards from Ship Bottom). By car the house is just 4 minutes from the beach, CVS and Wawa, yet just 10 minutes from the Manahawkin shopping centers and the Garden State Parkway.

This modern lower floor Duplex Apartment is 1,800 SF with 4 bedrooms, open kitchen, dining and living room area with abundant glass for great waterfront views of the Bay to the East. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bath with unobstructed views of the Bay. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the 4th bedroom has a queen and a single bed. There is a queen air mattress for extra sleeping room when needed. Sun bathe on the waterfront deck overlooking the Bay and the Ship Bottom waterfront. There is an open outdoor shower. High speed Wifi and Comcast cable TV is provided. There is no land line telephone provided so please bring your cell phone.

The house is located within a 10 minute walk from the Ship Bottom Bay Park which holds weekly concerts and other events. It is just minutes by car to the ocean, shops and restaurants on Long Beach Island.

About the owner:
I have been an architect and builder here on LBI for nearly 30 years. Having lived in most of its communities, and in many waterfront homes I discovered Cedar Bonnet in 2000 when I purchased a home at this location. Since then I have grown to love the tranquility of this quaint neighborhood, the fantastic views that I wake up to every morning and the convenient location to both my clients on LBI and shopping in Manahawkin. In 2008 I built this new duplex on the same land and I live year round in the ground floor unit. GYM WILSON

Gorgeous!!

Staying at Gym’s house in Ship Bottom was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We got to meet Gym; he is lovely and easy to work with. The house is amazing for a large family. I brought my three daughters, granddaughter, son-in-law and two dogs. We found the house to be fully equipped, spacious, warm, and welcoming. The gorgeous views surrounding us created such peace. We had fun at both the ocean and bay sides and appreciated the provision of beach badges. Unlike many vacations, I arrived home feeling relaxed!

Amazing Property

We have stayed at this house for 3 years in a row now and plan on coming back every year until we're able to get a place of our own down there! The views are amazing for a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck, the bay as your backyard is always fun to kayak, float, or just jump in to cool off, and the convenience of getting on and off the main island is perfect because you get to skip most of the island traffic! Plenty of things to do within biking distance or a short drive to the more popular destinations in Surf City.

I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to experience LBI. The owner Gym is always accommodating and easy to work with, and the neighbors are great as well!

Great vacation property

I strongly recommend this site. The owner is fantastic, and the property is well-kept with fantastic views of the bay on three sides. For what you get, the rent is a bargain.

We hope to be able to rent this property for our vacation for years to come. My only concern is that if more people find out about the property, it will become too popular, making it harder to rent.
