Description

Our new home is yours for the week. Very comfy cozy and great to spend time with family or friends. Our home includes 6 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, 2 outdoor showers, 2 zone central air, reverse living, 2 decks, washer/dryer, large open living room and dining room, den. You can see the bay down the street from the top deck.

Our home is located just 18 houses to the ocean or 18 houses to the bay beach. The bay beach is great to take the young ones during the day and everyone at night for the beautiful sunsets. There is a playground, bathroom and lifeguard all at the bay beach. And then just down the street the other way from our home is the ocean.

Our home is not just another rental, it is our home that we have made very comfortable and we enjoy all the notes from the families that have rented from us sharing all the good times and memories that they have made. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our home as well.

PARKS & SUNSETS:You can walk down to the end of the street & watch the Sunset at the Bay Beach. Barnegat Light House is approx 9 miles to the north end of LBI. The hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm. It is a 3 dollar ($1 for kids) donation to walk the 217 steps to the top. You can then walk down the jetty for another excellent view.

Our favorite things:
Sunset is approx 8 to 8:15pm so head down to the bay beach by 7:45ish to watch the sunset.
Thursday night is concert night at the boat ramp on 10th street in Ship Bottom. Concert starts at 7pm so checkout who is playing at www.shipbottom.org concert is free and don’t forget to bring your beach chair. You will sit, watch the concert, watch the sunset and relax .
Be sure to pick up the free “Sandpaper” at one of the paper boxes on the island that lists what’s going on around town.
Head down to the lighthouse “Old Barney” and walk up the 217 steps and then take a walk on the Jetty.
Walk to Stuz’s candy shop for some goodies located at 2504 Long Beach Blvd in Ship Bottom.
For all you walkers, my morning or evening walk is to walk down towards the Bay Beach and make a left and weave through the streets along the water continue down 19th St. to E Bay Terrace and continue down 23rd street down towards Central Ave then stay on Central Ave towards the Ship Bottom Marine boat rental and then down to 27th street . Walk down 27th street to the end then loop around the circle and make your way back home to 14th St. That’s about a 45 min walk and gets you some fit bit steps as well .
Restaurants/food we like: Scojo’s in Surf City, The Arlington down the street, the Sandbox café in Ship Bottom is delicious – located at 2604 Long Beach Blvd. Grab some great sauce from the Ravioli & More located at 2610 Long Beach Blvd or stay for dinner. Raimondo’s around the corner in Ship Bottom is a very very nice restaurant a little expensive and you NEED a reservation. Wally’s in Surf City is great for breakfast. Bageleddi’s on the blvd is the place to go for bagels. Ferrara’s in Ship Bottom on 29th St is where to go for fresh bread donuts and cake.
Shop Rite and Costco are located on Rt 72 and since we are so close to jump off the island, which is where we shop. Just a 7 or 8 min ride.
