Description
Our property is located steps from the beach, one house off ocean with incredible unobstructed ocean views on 20th Street in North Beach Haven, (Long Beach Island) LBI.
The apartment is the second floor of our new home built in 2022. The private entrance has an inside stairway on the left side of the house. It features 4 Bedrooms and 2 full baths as well as a private outdoor shower. The master bedroom, with au suite bath, has beautiful views of the ocean (and Sunrise) from your Queen Size bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom has a full over full bunk bed. There also is a Queen pull out sofa in Living room. The living, dining room, kitchen and front deck have open, awesome, unobstructed views of the ocean. There is central A/C and Full Size Washer/Dryer. Gas grill, picnic table/chairs are located in your own private fenced back yard. Off street parking for two cars. (If needed, street parking is always available.)
There are no taxes or cleaning fees for weekly rentals. There is a refundable security deposit.
Rental includes linens (one set of sheets for each bed, one hand, one wash and one bath towel and one beach towel for each guest) 1000Mbps Internet, WiFi, Xfinity Cable TV. There is a smart TV in Living Room as well as each bedroom. 8 Beach Badges, 8 Beach Chairs, 3 Beach Umbrellas, and enough Boogie Boards and Sand Toys for everyone.
Park your car and put your keys away for the rest of your stay. The beach is literally a seashell's throw from the house. The neighborhood is quiet, residential and respectful of other families. It is managed by ourselves, personally. We are semi-retired and live on the 3rd floor.
We fulfilled our dream of being on LBI and purchased the original house in 2018. We loved LBI so much that we removed the original house, built new with all modern amenities and made it our home. We enjoy hosting and watching others have the family memories that we had. We have six grown children, 5 boys and 1 girl, all married and 13 grandchildren, 10 boys and three girls, so far....
Bay Village, Fantasy Island and Thundering Surf Waterslide are 10-12 blocks away. Stefano's, Isola restaurants, Dairy King, Beach Haven Fishery are two blocks away. Terrace Tavern, The Beach House, Oyster Bar, Robertos, are 14 blocks away. Surflight Theatre, Bird and Betty's, Black Whale, Buckalews, Morrison's Marina and Pearl St Market are 20 blocks away. There are many things to see and do as well as many fine eating establishments within walking or bike-riding distance.

We personally inspect and attend to our property every Saturday during the rental season to insure cleanliness and a smooth changeover. We handle our own rentals and rent only to families as opposed to groups of young people. The minimum age of the primary renter is 28. There are no parties or events allowed. It is a non-smoking property.We have a "5” rating on VRLBI, and are Superhosts on Airbnb.

Policies
A $1500 Hold Deposit is due at signing and this will become your refundable Security Deposit upon moving in for weekly rentals. This deposit is not refundable if a cancellation occurs. All other monies are refundable providing we can get the unit rented in time and for the same amount as was originally in the Rental Agreement.
Additional information about rental rates:
A Rental Agreement is provided prior to collection of any payments. Please read the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement. Personal checks are preferred. In the event of cancellation, any portion of the monies paid less the Hold Deposit will be refunded, less expenses, provided the unit(s) are able to be re-rented in time and for the same amount as agreed upon in the Rental Agreement.
A $1500 Hold Deposit will hold any period in any unit until February 1st of the rental year. After February 1st, 50% of the rental amount is due. The remaining 50% of the rental amount is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Upon occupancy, your original $1500 Hold Deposit becomes a $1500 Security Deposit, which is refundable providing there is no damage. Please refer to our Rental Agreement.
The entire fee is due at booking for rentals less than 7 days.
There is a $250 cleaning fee for rentals less than 7 days. There is no fee for weekly rentals.
If renting less than 4 weeks before the date of arrival, full amount will be due at booking.

Kite Weekend Stay
We had the most terrific stay during LBI Kite Weekend! The furnishings and decor were pristine and beautiful. The views and location..AMAZING! Bonus for us that sheets and towels were included. It was exactly as described in the listing. Steve and his wife made us feel so welcomed.

Great stay for a family!
Our family had an amazing week at Honey n Doc. The location is perfect, steps away from the beach. Also walking distance Fantasy Island and restaurants. The apartment is spotless with all the amenities you will need. The owners are very nice and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend!

An Unforgettable Stay
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Honey & Doc’s and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the soothing sounds of the ocean and a breathtaking view that set the tone for a perfect getaway.
The house itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities we could have asked for. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. We spent our days soaking up the sun, swimming, and enjoying the serene environment. The hosts were outstanding—responsive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. They provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities, which added to the overall experience. I can’t recommend this place enough and am hoping to book again in the future!

Amazing apartment!
Amazing home! Gorgeous views, conveniently right off the beach, spotless conditions. The apartment was just the right size for my family of 4. Steve was a very accommodating host, owning/living in the home himself - he is easy to reach and keeps it in pristine conditions. We’ve been staying in LBI for 4 years now, and the house is definitely top tier. You could easily outstay your welcome :)
