Thank you for your interest in our Long Beach Island rental apartments at 2609 Ocean Avenue.
As our address suggests, we are oceanfront. Our views are panoramic and truly spectacular.
We have a private path to the swimming beach and there is a lifeguard directly in front of our home.

Our address is uniquely secluded and quiet in Ship Bottom because of an unusual street pattern.
It is perfect for families. There is no parking on the street and typically only residents or neighbors are in the area.
Children often play in the street. We do have ample off street parking.

Our house is a two family home, custom built to be as private and as insulated as possible.
Both apartments have a beautiful view of the ocean.
Each unit has three bedrooms, one and a half baths and a dedicated outside shower, with a dressing room.
Each unit also has two decks: one large on the beach side and a smaller one for sunsets and barbequing towards the west.

The listed property is a three bedroom, one and a half bath single level unit on the lower level.
There is a private outside shower with a changing room.
We include four beach badges, all bedding (one king, one queen and a set of twin beds), soaps, and general spices and condiments in the well-appointed kitchen.
There is immediate beach access on a path right next to our home on a guarded beach. We have plenty of off-street parking.
The street does not go through to the Boulevard, so it is very quiet.
There is central air-conditioning, high speed internet, Netflix, washer and dryer and a clothesline for beach towels and bathing suits.

Ship Bottom is located on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. The island is unique due to the distance from the mainland, providing fresh clean air and a feeling of being out to sea. Ship Bottom is centrally located on the island and therefore has the cleanest water around. There are expansive, well-guarded beaches to enjoy, with swimming, surfing and wind-surfing as some of the most popular activities. Shopping and dining choices are abundant and within an easy distance from our home, either by foot, bicycle or by car.

A true gem

Anne & Jack's place is a true gem! Located right on the ocean - you can hear the waves crashing from the bedroom at night. My husband & I stayed in the ground level unit which was well equipped, and it felt like our home away from home. Anne was kind & helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. We would highly recommend this little place and hope to visit again next spring~

Awesome Property

We really enjoyed our Fall weekend in the 2nd floor apt. The oceanfront view was spectacular. The apartment was extremely clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The ocean views from the various rooms and the deck were fabulous. It was such a pleasure dealing with Anne. We would definitely return in the future.

Beautiful Quiet Location

We had many complaints about the stormy weather, but none whatsoever about this little oceanfront gem. It was immaculately clean and well-maintained with great views of the ocean. Felt secluded, yet close to nearby restaurants and shopping. Would rent again without reservation.

Our favorite place on LBI

For anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing beachfront rental on LBI look no further. My wife I and have rented here for more than 20 years and have never been disappointed. We are at home as soon as we walk thru the door, and have always left with the feeling that we can't wait to come back again. The owners really care about your comfort and enjoyment and it shows. No place on LBI we'd rather stay..

Wonderful rental with amazing views!!!

My husband and I have been renting homes on LBI for about 6 years. This past experience at Anne's duplex was by far the best yet. The location is amazing setting directly on the beach and in an area that offers dining, miniature golf and ice cream in short walking distance. Beach entrance is next to the house however does not receive much traffic (hardly any) as the house sits on a dead end off 26th street. The house in maintained as a home, not rental. If you rent often you can tell the difference. From the newer bathroom, flat screen tv, front loading washer, bedding provided (yes sheets too!) and air conditioning units that work amazingly, expenses are not spared on upkeep. Anne is fantastic to work with and genuinely interested in making sure you have a pleasant stay. This rental is a true gem.

great summer place

We rented this beachfront beauty for the first time this year and found it to be one of a kind. Was very neat and clean, deck is great especially great even for dolphin watching. Close to all, Causeway shops, restaurants and bars and its right on the beach, which is great. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Looking forward to going back next year.

We have been renting this unit every year for the past 11 years and have never been disappointed. The location is to die for. Great views right on the beach, secluded street so very little traffic. Close to the causeway, so easy on/off. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, bakeries. A stone's throw from the Sandbox! Ample parking. The unit itself is spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Great deck overlooking the beach and ocean, perfect for watching dolphins and the occasional whales. Overall, it is heaven on earth.

Oceanfront paradise!

We have been renting this property every year for many years. We so look forward to it every time! it's right on the ocean, with a spectacular view. The property is beautifully decorated and maintained, and spotlessly clean; like being at a five star hotel on the beach! It's very spacious, and the deck makes you feel like you are sitting on the beach without the sand! So many restaurants and shops within walking distance in a quiet part of town. The owners are wonderful as well. You will absolutely love this lovely, oceanfront getaway as much as we do!
