Hidden Gem!
This beach cottage is everything you need down the shore and then some. My husband & I have been vacationing in Barnegat Light for years now and this beach cottage has by far exceeded our expectations. The house itself is spacious, very clean and the open concept is just what we love. The front window is big & gorgeous and our dogs favorite spot as they love to people/dog watch, the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking in mind, the beds were comfortable, the backyard was great for eating, relaxing & leting our pups run around and suntan, the outdoor shower is wonderful and a must at the beach, the BBQ was great. The bikes were a nice added treat as were the beach passes. The location is simply perfect as you can walk to the bay one way for beautiful sunsets and then walk to ocean the other for beautiful sunrises, loved it! Our dogs loved all the walks and the new daily adventures, they couldn't get enough of it. To us it was perfect as everything we wanted to do was within walking distance which is what we expect a beach vacation to be. We parked our car when we got there and it didn't move for the whole week! Garrett was always responsive and helpful when needed, communication was always easy. He was even kind enough to mail back bathing suits that were accidentally left behind which was very much appreciated. I can't express enough how much we all enjoyed vacationing here this summer. We will all miss this beach cottage! Thank you Garrett for your wonderful hospitality!
Our only regret is that we didn't book it quick enough for next summer however we will definitely be back the following!

Another Great Week at the Barnegat Light Cottage!
This house is the perfect spot for a smallish group to have a wonderful week at the shore, esp if they want to bring a dog along! Lovely back yard that is fenced in provides safe play area for the dog. Back deck gets wonderful sunlight (supplied with an umbrella for shade). Outdoor shower is also present (one of the things I love about being at the shore!) The house is up to date with an open kitchen living room format that in and of itself is relaxing. We like to come pre-season so we don't need to use the AC and can leave the windows open and feel the sea breeze. The house is in a great location. Everything at the end of the island is in walking distance and it's literally a minute or two to the bay to watch the sunset. The beach is also a short walk and the dunes are great for birding if you get up early enough. Across the street there are some tennis courts, which sometimes provides some background noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. Ed and Michelle are wonderful hosts (they live in the house behind the cottage) and are immediately helpful if there's anything you need. I highly recommend staying at their cottage.

Excellent house!
My wife and I, with our small dog, loved everything about this place. Beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, it is just as good with or without a dog. It is close to all of Barnegat Light's best spots, and the owners are nearby.

Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing!!!
The house was amazing. Everything was fresh and new. The owners are a delight and have kept their adorable cottage immaculate. The area is quiet and accessible to everything. The beach is beautiful and not overcrowded. It was a perfect vacation. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect Beach Cottage
Ed and Michele maintain a VERY WELL KEPT BEACH COTTAGE for an absolutely wonderful vacation experience. The home is immaculate, well stocked with beach towels, bed linens, beach passes, towels, all the amenities of home and then some. Our puppies loved the freedom of the backyard, beautiful deck with grill and patio furniture. The breezes were wonderful. It is perfectly located near the beach and the bay. Within walking distance to the Barnegat Light House, and Viking Village. We had the opportunity of seeing the 4th of July Day Parade. That was just perfect. We went into Beach Haven and went shopping at Bay Village, I signed up for a week of Yoga at Liquid Bliss Yoga in Harvey Cedars, Ashley gives a Yoga on the Beach class Fridays thru Mondays, we rented bikes, went into Surf City. We tried a few of the local eateries and all were wonderful. My son and husband were able to fish every day, all day. We found a great walk down to the beach from 10th street, with a short-cut that took us out to the sunken ship stack. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you, Ed and Michele for opening up your lovely cottage so that we had a wonderful week's vacation. We hope to return next year!! Donna and John

Perfect House for our Summer Family Vacation
We had a great stay in Barnegat Light the week before the Fourth of July. The house was exactly what we had hoped for and perfect for our family (two small children). Our oldest son loved the backyard and the huge playground right across the street. The home's amenities and location were great! The owners of the home live very close and were always happy to lend a hand or answer any questions that we had. I would definitely return if given the chance. Thank you very much.

Wonderful family vacation!
We absolutely loved the cottage and the beautiful accommodations! The dogs LOVED the fenced in yard and we loved the proximity to the dog park and all the things Barnegat Light has to offer. The beach and bay are an easy 5 minute walk, and the tractor tram was great getting to and from the beach area. We thank you for your gracious hospitality and assistance. For any family with small children and/or dogs looking for a perfect vacation house that is beautifully updated and immaculate, near the beach and bay yet set in a tranquil setting, this is the house! We will definitely be back (for 2 weeks!) next summer- Thanks so much again!

Beautiful Summer in JUNE!
We had a lovely visit early in the season, a new thing for us! We hope to visit again soon. Ed was so nice and the house and amenities made us feel welcome and special. The private back yard was perfect for sitting and relaxing when walking to the beach was too much for my mom. My daughter and I loved riding our bikes between the beach and the bay - the house is perfectly located! Thank you so much!

Thanksgiving 2013
My family has a home in Barnegat Light and this year we celebrated Thanksgiving there and needed an extra house. This cottage was absolutely PERFECT. Our extended family stayed there and was so comfortable, it was hard to leave. They were so impressed with the house that they are considering renting it for a week in the summer. We want to thank the owner for making our family reunion for Thanksgiving so wonderful.
