Not recommend

I would not recommend staying here whatsoever. We booked at the last minute, family of 4, two adults and two children. This apartment was not suitable whatsoever for a family by any stretch of the imagination. The air quality in the apartment was awful; there was black mold in one of the closets and the AC units in the windows were YEARS past their prime. Blowing mold and dust literally right in your face, since the AC units are situated directly next to your head of the bed.

The twin beds in the second bedroom were on a SLANT!! That’s right. Two of the legs were propped up higher than the other two legs. It was completely unbelievable.

The mattresses and box springs were extremely old and very dirty looking. I hate to say it but it looked like they were picked off the sidewalk, or if not, then decades old. A clean, new box spring costs a couple hundred dollars and I’d think would be something the owner would invest in given how much they charge a week for this unit.

I am convinced that the smoke alarm doesn’t work. There was a couple times while we were cooking that it for sure should have gone off, but didn’t. Again, major concern if you’re staying with your family. Luckily the stove was electric so I didn’t have a concern over carbon monoxide.

The kitchen table was filthy, sticky, and not suitable for eating on. the chairs were the same way. The couch was in similar condition.

My biggest gripe with this apartment is that it appears the owner has Zero regard for its tenants that it rents to. That’s a big issue in my opinion.

My son is 5 months old and developed wheezing/asthmatic reaction while we were there which forced us to pack up 2 days early after seeing urgent care twice during the 5 days we stayed. We texted the owner and he did not respond.
Please steer clear of this place. It’s not worth it even though you’re close to the beach. I couldn’t wait to leave.
