This Oceanfront beach house has one of the most gorgeous views along the New Jersey shoreline. Beautiful natural dunes frame the wide, expansive beach. This location is uncrowded compared to other areas. Watch the dunes turn orange and pink from the rooftop deck which boast 360 degree views including Old Barney Lighthouse. The boarded path to the beach is surrounded by a beautiful maritime forest full of wildlife. There are plenty of fun areas outside for kids to play and be entertained for hours!

Although the house is Oceanfront we are set well back from the water's edge. To get there it takes about a 6-8 minute walk through a gorgeous maritime forest on a boarded path and over the natural dunes. (beach wagons and carts provided)
We had a lovely time at this home with our kids and grandkids in August; four couples and three children in all. Having two new babies in the group was wonderful, and the layout of the house made it easy for folks to be undisturbed through the night.
While the walk to the beach is longer than many places on LBI, it's a sanctuary for plants and animals which we enjoyed along the way. Our resident fisherpeople did well in the surf, and provided some tasty, fresh dinners! This is their preferred fishing spot on LBI, so they were thrilled with the location. We went up to the roof deck most nights to watch the sunset over the bay.
We checked out many of the shops on walks and kept the ice cream shop in business!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare many delicious meals, and the extra frig in the garage gave us plenty of storage room.
A hidden gem was the VCR in the second floor common area! We got a bunch of our old tapes to enjoy again with the older grandchild.
Hope to get back to this great home as our family grows. It's a wonderful place to make great memories.

This home was absolutely perfect! The multiple floors made it really easy to all stay together as a family but still have privacy. The views to the beach and over the island are beautiful. It’s in a very quite, private location but still close to everything you need. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was enough space for everyone. There is a long walk out to the ocean but it’s worth the haul! The owners were great and very responsive. When there was a small problem during our stay they had someone out with in the hour to fix it. I highly recommend this home!
I am from NJ and vacationed on LBI when I was a kid. I was so nervous to bring my in laws to “the jersey Shore” but they were very impressed and said they would like to go back!

The house was perfect for a week with the family plus uncles, cousins, girlfriends. We all had plenty of space and with the multiple levels in the house we could spread out and enjoy time in together in different ways-games in the living room, watching TV downstairs, napping on the lower level- all without being in the way of others. Bedroom and bathroom set ups worked perfectly- so much space. The best was the rooftop deck-evening meals up top with a perfect view and setting sun made for lingering over dinner and time to catch up. The kitchen was a bit small, but perfectly stocked with pans, dishes, and serving needs-great double oven and gas stove. Nestled in the dunes, the house was quiet and so very peaceful.

Terrific house next to the dunes of Barnegat Light. About a 5 minute walk (mostly on boardwalk) to the beach, with wonderful views of the dunes and ocean, and even the bay from the roof deck. Well stocked with beach supplies and everything you need for a great week on Long Beach Island. Walking distance to Viking Village and the lighthouse. Hosts were great at answering the few questions we had. The house was clean and quiet. Would definitely consider returning!

WOW! This beautiful house was everything we were looking for and more! Perfect location on the beach and near the lighthouse. The beach is very wide and not crowded at all which made for great wiffle ball and football games. The waves were good for boogie boarding. The house is stocked with beach toys and chairs. The pool table was a huge hit as was the roofdeck and outdoor grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, serving trays, pots, cutting boards, and seasonings. The fridge is HUGE and there is a second fridge in the garage downstairs. We cooked all our meals in and found everything we needed. The beds all came with linens. I have used VRBO before but this is a true Diamond! The house feels like a home and it was a pleasure communicating with the owners. It is an easy drive from NYC and also Philly. It was our first time to the house but it will not be our last. We are already planning the second annual beach trip for next year!

What an awesome home! We watched the fireworks from the rooftop and could see them happening all around. We had a family reunion and everyone was comfortable and had space to spread out. The water and the beach were wonderful!

I was looking for a special place to accommodate 12 of us for a spiritual retreat weekend and I found it in this lovely home. The living room with it's large but cozy wrap around sofa, charming gas fireplace, and the many spacious windows with incredible views of the dunes and ocean, provided the perfect setting for our group meditations. The numerous bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and decks gave us the privacy we needed for journaling, reflecting, making phone calls home to family, reading or just relaxing. From heart to heart chats on the porch swing to early morning Tai Chi on the roofdeck, from afternoon tea on the sunny front deck to star gazing on the roof, from moonlight walks on the beach to a shared feast around the dining room table, this was indeed an ideal spot. A weekend we will long cherish leaving us with tranquil visions of pine trees, dunes, ocean, and expansive sky. Many thanks!

Our week at this oceanfront beach house was amazing and the memories created will last a lifetime. First off, our vacation was the first at Long Beach Island. This house had gorgeous views and the living room was so relaxing and peaceful with the panoramic window view of the ocean. The house was very accommodating with more rooms and bathrooms than we needed and a kitchen well stocked for our home cooked dinner meals. We enjoyed the old pool table in the garage and even found the perfect CDs in the living room to sit and listen to during our evening wind down. To top it off was the rooftop deck where we got to sit and view the ocean, Old Barney, and the bay. We also loved our stroll through the dunes to the private location on the beach. Thanks for the lovely vacation at LBI - we will certainly be back.

If you're looking for a fabulous place for a few days of R&R, no need to look any further. This house was my perfect 'stay-cation' destination for my 27th annual NYC area Super Bowl weekend friends & family getaway reunion.
Wow! What a view and what a house! Everything you need and more. The only thing better (if that's possible) was the incredible hospitality and treatment by the owners.
It's that good a place and a great value that you're guaranteed to love ...and so close to Atlantic City too.
With the view, looking out the panoramic windows towards the ocean and dunes, I thought I was in the caribbean somewhere -- the perfect quick winter vacation spot. The summers must be even nicer...it's truly an ideal year-round getaway destination!
You just can't go wrong with this idyllic beachfront rental option.
