This 1st Floor unit has 3 bedrooms to accommodate 9 people MAX with 4 beach badges & 8 beach chairs included. NOT PICTURED YET: I'm in process of updating the kitchen with beautiful new cabinets, quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, new GE full sized refrigerator with filtered water thru doors & auto-icemakers, & microwave ovens. I also replaced all the furniture (2 sofas & a love seat), a custom/designer kitchen table/12 chairs, installed 4 new raised panel doors inside with a designer front door upstairs, new flat screen TVs in all 3 bedrooms & 60" in the living room, with new custom blinds on every window. I replaced the floors, stove top, range, washer/dryer, tankless hot water heater, 4 Fujitsu A/C units, Xfinity cable TV on every set, WIFI, painted entire house inside, etc. to make it a great place to relax and enjoy your time at the beach. Outside I completely redid both porches with fiberglass to reflect the sun so you don't burn your feet, replaced the wood staircase with new TREX steps, & purchased another BBQ grill in May 2022. We have 2 picnic tables in your private/fenced in yard with an outside shower & dressing room and plenty of parking on this large lot! I haven't found a photographer to replace the pictures on the website yet with all the new improvements (my last one moved to NC) but hoping to find one before the spring. Finally I installed electronic locks so no keys needed to misplace or lose, just punch in your 4 digit code I change every week and you're in! If you're going to vacation “down the shore” you want to stay near the beach! This house is JUST 50 STEPS from driveway to dune walkway. In addition to being close to the beach, this house is close to the causeway so you don’t have to wait in “Island Traffic” when you want to come or go from LBI. ***PLEASE NOTE I'M UNABLE TO RENT THIS HOME TO ANYONE UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE***
Major chain store shopping, including Shop Right, Wal Mart, BJ’s, Costco, Kohls, Lowe's and MANY others are just 10 minutes away (on mainland). Want to stay local? No problem! Within a few blocks you can walk to 7 Eleven, Wawa, Seafood Market, Surf Shop, Arcade, Mini Golf, Ice Cream Pallor, Bike Rental, Surf City Hotel, Shops, Bars, & Restaurants including a Pancake House and the “Best Burgers” on LBI! Want to explore other parts of the Island? Barnegat light is just a 10 minute drive to the North and Beach Haven is just a 12 minute drive to the South. Don’t want to drive, take the FREE LBI Shuttle less than a block away!

So I’m old and new to reviewing VRLBI properties so in my last review I gave the duplex’s address for where we were from!!! We’re actually 800 miles from LBI and took a chance on this home and it turned out to be AWESOME

Darling Duplex on LBI
Good fortune led us to this Darling Duplex on LBI. Oceanside and only four houses from the pristine and massive beaches of coveted Surf City. We stayed, comfortably, in this beautifully decorated home with brand new beds and living room furniture. All bedrooms had flat screen TV’s and the living room had a massive TV with all the “bells and whistles” with 4 remotes!! Gas cooking was great on a new stove and new refrigerator plus the professional gas grill in the backyard. Outdoor shower was huge as well as a large family size picnic table. The weather in September and October was amazingly warm and we enjoyed the covered front porch for all of our meals and especially in the evening. It was the perfect spot to relax with comfortable dining chairs that reclined! Proximity to the beach was awesome but so was walking to Scojo’s restaurant and How You Brewin coffee shop. The library was also right around the corner and a great place for everyone on a rainy day.
Surf City is the quintessential beach town-you’ll love this charming duplex and if you have a large family I’d rent both floors!

The house is clean, updated, and conveniently located. Kevin is very easy to work with. We will definitely consider staying here again!
