8 1/2 bedroom/4 baths sleeps 26,and 4 rooms can accommodate your pack and play crib.There are 2 Livingrooms,Rooftop Deck, Hot Tub, Semi-Private Back Yard and an Outdoor Shower. GENERATOR - Is your rental prepared for the storms? We are! Make sure because we used it twice in 2020! You will pay the price of losing food, or having to go home due to a power outage. What a way to ruin a vacation!
This home can be rented as first floor only( sleeps 8- 3 bedrooms and pullout couch in living room) including onsite parking, back yard and rooftop deck access in the shoulder season (Sept.-June).

First Floor only details: Fourth floor rooftop deck with Hot Tub! There are 3 bedrooms downstairs:stocked with books,a toy box, with queen size bed, a queen size bed in a room with window seat, and another queen size bed.The kitchen has a Huge Dining Island Bar,shelving underneath for pantry overflow, shelved pantry and bookcase pantry, fully stocked cooking and baking gear,including lobster pots,steamers,crackers and picks. We have a 48 inch professional gas 2 door oven with a 6 stove burner with griddle top. Our free standing ice maker with make 50 lbs of ice per day for drinks, coolers and fishing trips. We have upgraded the fridge to a 4 door that you can use 2 for fridge or 3 if you don't need as much freezer space. The 33 inch sink will make prepping meals a breeze. The open floor plan flows into the living room that has a gas stone-faced fireplace, radiant heat throughout home, 42 inch flat screen surround sound entertainment center, pop up table for TV dining, U shaped couches, a washer/dryer, extra pantry shelves. There is 2 first floor Bathrooms, one has high boy toilet,handicapped rails,bench seat /stall shower for elders needs, and the second bathroom has standard height toilet with a shower stall.
Normal Full House Rental includes: Second floor: King bed room,queen bedroom with tropical feel, queen bedroom with ocean views, bunk room with a single bunk and queen below great for kids/parent child room, full bed with single bunk above and a king bed. There's a full bathroom with tub and comfort height toilet, second bathroom with stand up shower and normal height toilet. Second Living room has 60 inch big screen TV,popup table,game/puzzle table, sectional couch with full pullout, leather full pullout and another leather comfy couch with pillows. This room has ocean & bay views.
A beach wheels wheelchair can be reserved with the township for the week of your stay, ask me for details if needed for your loved one.
Grand Ole Rooftop Deck: The 4th floor rooftop deck gives you the opportunity to tune out the world and relax. The hot tub will melt away the worries and let the good times sink in. Panoramic views of the island and surrounding towns over the bridge twinkle at night. You can see Old Barney's Light blimp on the left, the bridge rails glow, and to the right the ferris wheel at Bay Village Schooners Wharf, along with Atlantic City's Outline and shimmering lit Borgata that changes color every few minutes and daily change of patterns. The 4th of July is a splendid sight with all the fireworks being at a safe distance away, without all the heart stopping booms. It's nice to have room to sit in comfort and have a cocktail while visiting on the deck when watching the fireworks and the little ones excitement! Plan your BBQ (large weber grill)with friends and dine in the back yard with 1 large table and outdoor living room set. If you bring your own bikes we have a bike rack, and the clothesline is out back also.
What to bring?: If you have bikes bring them, if it's too much to carry, rent down the street. If you like to fish, bring your gear, or just walk up to the bait shop and buy some new presents for your crew to remember your trip. We have some beach chairs and umbrellas for your use and also boogie boards and a skim board. The surf shop carries all these items also if you need more or want some other options. We have a toy box with sand toys, trucks, and other items to make the beach trip fun for the little ones without packing your stuff from home. No matter what weather pack those bathing suits year round, the hot tub is on the rooftop deck 4 stories up and the views are amazingly soothing. A hot tub certainly takes the sting out of a cloudy rainy day for sure. The house has several movies rated from G to R for your watching pleasure, and a few games for a play station if you bring your set up. For those kids on the rainy days we have games, books,cards and puzzles to entertain them.
The LBI Experience: Here is some of the must do's if you can fit them in to your relaxing visit:Fishing on the Black Whale or out of Barnegat Light,Barnegat Lighthouse trek (214 steps!), Nardi's Tavern (great bands and pizza, free bus transportation to and from daily), Skipper Dipper Ice Cream,Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Howards Seafood Restaurant (great salmon dishes,and Lobster Bisque!),Bay Village Schooner's Wharf is a must for shopping, Country Crumb in Bay Village has delicious Elephant ear cookies and Choc. chip cookies to die for! Country Kettle Fudge should satisfy your sweet tooth, and Thundering Surf is fun for all ages with tubing down the lazy river, tubing shoots, a kiddie water playground, a huge mini golf on a 'mountain',and lots of food and drinks to keep you going. Take a bucket a net up to the Bayview park and let the little ones find all the creatures in the sea, this is fun!

The third floor is locked out for Owner who may be present during your stay, with own entrance, and the far right 2 parking spots next to fence are reserved.

I have several retreats in the off season: Scrap-booking, French Cuisine Cooking Classes, Painting Workshops, Stain Glass/Mosaic Workshops, Baking Classes, Massage/Spa Treatments, Yoga/Pilates, Raw Food Diet and Preparation Workshops, Tye Dye Workshops, Writers Workshops, Fishing Charters, and you may also bring your own retreat group or request us to help put something else together for you that you have in mind. I have access to caterers if you don't want to cook on vacation, from a Welcome Hor'doures, Continental Breakfast, Brunch, or a Full Course Meal. About the owner: My husband Tom and I both grew up on LBI in the summers. We lived next door to each other until age 10. After 30 years we reconnected at age 40! We have raised 4 daughters here and were married on our beach. We married in 2006 bought my familys home and renovated so we could share LBI with others.
Why the Owner Chose North Beach Haven, Long Beach Township, New Jersey, United States of America:
We purposely built the house to having several places to spread out in different living areas, or gather in one spot, indoors and outdoors. This helps with multi- generational families. We love introducing new visitors to the island and showing them the ropes. We also have a great connection with people who have been coming to LBI and our home year after year. We also welcome groups for retreats. We have retreat groups in the months of Sept.-June. We are currently looking for more retreat leaders to fill some weekends with their offerings. If interested please contact me. We look for all kinds of groups: Ladies, Men’s, Artists, Holistic, Spiritual, Healthy Ways, Networking, Business, and more. We opened the LBI GeoTrail Nov. 2013 ask me about Geocaching! The kids will love it, and it is a great thing to do on those cloudy days!

Our house that we have built several ways to be flexible with group sizes. We rent as first floor only, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and when we add some upstairs bedrooms we can be rented as a 5 bedrooms/3 bath, 6/3,7/3 or in the main season June- Aug., we book only as an 8 ½ bedrooms and 4 baths. Covid has been a real challenge renting the house, so we made some changes to meet the needs. So, you will see several listings that are us as different combinations of beds and baths. With all bookings - 50% of rental fee due with booking, $1000 security and $400 cleaning fee, collected with second payment of remaining 50% rental fee due 30 before check in unless other arrangements have been made.
When booking with a dog there is a $450 charge per dog and a extra $450 security fee and $150 dog cleaning fee for dog due at check in, in CASH.

Towels, sheets, are not included in pricing. We do supply pillows, blankets. Kids love our home with all the toys, books, and sand toys we provide. We also have many outside games for grownups. There are 5 steps to get into the house. We have had wheelchairs in-home and able to use the bathroom that is equipped with handrails on the wall and shower. We allow 1 pet during your stay. They must stay on first floor only. We allow smoking outside only.

Wonderful place for large families to gather!
Our family has been vacationing on LBi for over 40 yrs, and this was one of our best vacations.The beach is one of the best and easy to access.The house has so many features that make vacationing with a large family easier and more enjoyable.We have never stayed in place that was so well stocked with dishes,silverware and glasses not to mention ample pots and pans suitable for large groups.The ice maker is wonderful as are the outdoor cooking devices.There are so many helpful appliances one cannot mention them all.The dining room table is awesome! It is able to accommodate large numbers as is the outdoor table. It is also a great gaming table. The two living rooms offer ample comfortable seating so that little kids can watch their shows in one room while adults can watch their favorites in another quieter place.
Mary Ann and Tom are a lovely couple and so willing to answer questions and be helpful. There are games, poker chips and even scavenger hunts for the kids which were a blessing on a rainy day.The owners have tried very hard to anticipate the needs of large groups and have done all they can to make your stay easy and comfortable, We loved that they provided beach chairs. I highly.recommend this place and hope to return for another special family vacation next year. .

Wonderful family vacation!
We had the best time at Mary Ann and Tom's home for our family vacation. Both owners were super responsive to any questions or concerns both before and during our stay. Their home was well equipped with the necessities for a beach vacation. The kitchen had updated appliances and was stocked full of anything we could possibly need to cook and prepare meals for our large family. We loved that the table could actually fit all of us, both inside and outside! The house also stayed exceptionally cool with the a/c during a very hot week, and the bedroom accommodations were comfortable and perfect for our family! The house is also in a perfect location for easy access to the beach as well as to popular local destinations. Mary Ann also sent several recommendations for things to do nearby, and we loved all the information left in the house for us with activities and tips to help us during our stay. Overall an excellent vacation and experience with renting from Mary Ann and Tom, highly recommend for your family vacations!

Best Beach Stay Ever!
Our family of 15, plus assorted family and friends who wove in and out of our week on Long Beach Island, loved our stay on LBI as we found the perfect spot. Clean and comfortable space for both togetherness and privacy. The kitchen was jam packed with cookware and serving ware, and even the basics of any kitchen pantry which made it a breeze to feed the crowds. Although the indoor table would have easily fit us all, we always found ourselves outside - cooking and eating at the table and conversation areas…all shaded by umbrellas as needed. Boogie boards, beach chairs and beach toys were in plentiful supply. Loved the spacious outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the gorgeous beach of 85th street.
Our hosts were wonderful- just top notch. Always responded to any questions or concerns immediately. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly and available, without hovering. From the beginning of our inquiry, they truly had our best interest at heart, and gave many helpful suggestions about activities beyond the sand and surf. Their friendliness was much appreciated.
The rooftop deck was the icing on the cake, especially since we were there over the 4th of July. None of our group had ever seen fireworks so close up - just breathtaking and fun. And some of us saw them while in the hot tub…and none of us had to face a traffic jam when they were finished. Even without fireworks, it was a marvelous place to take in the sunset. For the sunrise, the bench at the head of the path to the beach was perfect.
This property is in a terrific location. Third house from the beach made the to and fro easy. Both a seafood and pizza restaurant nearby for takeout. A grocery store only a few blocks away. All that we needed was quite convenient!

Best Vacation Rental Ever
This is the best ever place to be to rest, relax, have fun, and be so close to the great beach and ocean water. The accommodations are excellent and very clean. Perfect sleeping areas for very large groups and the kitchen is very large and stocked with everything you need to cook with. Dining table to fit over 20 people. There is an outside shower and a large fun area for barbecuing, playing table games, and evening outside gatherings. Don't miss the hot tub on the roof! Downtown is an easy walk away. Great Time!
My stay at this house was wonderful. There was plenty of room for all the members of the family that came for our reunion of about 20 people. We love the giant size table on the main floor for family meals and games. The short walk to the beach is a blessing for the older members of our group. I am 75.
The owners provided a binder filled with suggestions of different activities that can be done on the island, including ones for rainy days with kids. We had a great week. I look forward to returning again.
