The large recreation room holds a queen sleeper sofa, sleeping nook, large flat screen TV, game table and covered deck access. The large laundry room has W/D, sink and linen closets.
Heading to the top floor, you reach the main living area, Master BR1, office and powder room. All rooms on this level have high ceilings with architectural details.
MBR 1 is very large, light and bright, with King bed, dramatic vaulted ceilings and flat screen TV. The master bath is marble and features double sinks, large walk in shower, jetted tub and laundry shoot to the laundry room below.
The kitchen is made for cooking! - with granite countertops, 2 sinks, 36" Thermador oven/range, Subzero fridge/freezer, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. There is a counter bar with three stools, a farm house table which easily seats 8, and another expandable table that can accommodate another 4-6. There is a separate grill deck off the kitchen which overlooks the pool.
In the entertainment area, there is a sectional sofa, two comfy chairs and a 55" flat screenmTV. There is a built in stereo system that we plug our iPhone or iPad into for our own music selections, or you can use a 6 position CD player.
The comfortable office with glass paned door is adjacent to the main area, and allows for privacy while still feeling connected. It has a large desk and comfortable reading recliner.
The Powder room has high ceilings and features antique map decor, many from New Jersey. A deck facing the water holds a sectional sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs with umbrella. From this level, there is also access to the large roof top deck which has a 360 degree view from bay to ocean- great for watching the fireworks!
Why the Owner Chose Loveladies, Long Beach Township, New Jersey, United States of America:
Our home will be the place you can make memories with your family as ours has. It is decorated in updated, traditional style, and is very family friendly. The house works well for entertaining, with the large top floor open plan kitchen/dining/family room along with deck. There have been many large family dinners served in this house, using the fully outfitted cook's kitchen and great stereo system. The pool area is a favorite with the kids, with large pool, separate spa and large outdoor enclosed shower. We have lived on our lane for 23 years and love that it only has 4 homes on it with the whole right side of the lane undeveloped. My husband and I spent most summers here with our two children who have enjoyed this home immensely.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our house is located at the end of a lane with no through traffic. Our beach access is a wide, uncrowded, lifeguarded beach. The home is architecturally stunning, designed by Fritz Krieger, with central stairway, copper turret, slate roof and roof top deck. There is a deck off the main living area, but my favorite deck is the covered deck on the middle floor. After a day on the beach and a nice outdoor shower, nothing beats curling up with a blanket and book in the warm breezes there. Another special place that will become your children's favorite is the sleeping nook in the recreation room. My daughter spent hours beading in the nook as a child, and my son always begged to sleep there for the night! Our house is also full of light, full of flowers and a place anyone would love to stay!

Additional Location Information
Our home is located in Loveladies, an executive beach community located on the north end of Long Beach Island. Loveladies offers the best of LBI; gorgeous, uncrowded beaches, easy access to restaurants and shopping along with virtually no commercial businesses, only a wide boulevard lined with lovely landscaped high end homes. The boulevard is a very popular place for walking, jogging and bike riding any time of day or evening! Life in Loveladies offers a laid back vibe where everyone dresses casually.
Our home is located in the center of Loveladies, 2 blocks from the Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts, a large complex on the bay which offers everything from tennis lessons and weekly kid's camps, adult school classes and fitness classes. They offer yoga twice a day including a class each morning on the deck overlooking the bay- such a great way to start your day!
Loveladies is sandwiched between Harvey Cedars to the south, with a great mix of restaurants, and historic Barnegat Light to the north, home to our lighthouse, Old Barney. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse, walk out along the inlet path, fish off the rocks or just watch the boats come and go.
There are good restaurants nearby, but many people choose to cook at home, taking advantage of the great Jersey produce (best tomatoes and sweet corn!). Fresh seafood (especially scallops) arrives daily at the Viking Village fishing port right in Barnegat Light (3 miles from our home).
Also in Barnegat Light, you can also hop on a day fishing boat and test your luck, take a sunset cruise, go parasailing and then go to Mustache Bill's, the famous vintage diner!
On the south end of Long Beach Island, you will find more commercial attractions including larger bars/entertainment, Fantasy Island amusement area for kids, and live summer theatre.
If you miss your large stores back home, or want to stock up your fridge or bar, you will find all major stores along the 7 mile stretch of Route 72- everything from WalMart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohl's, Target, Costco, BJ's and assorted others, and a ten-movie theatre. And for the adults, Atlantic City's casinos, clubs and shows are a short 45 minute drive away! Heading an hour north puts you at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center with its packed summer concert lineup.
All in all, there are plenty of things to do if you want; or you can do nothing at all- just enjoy the quiet, uncrowded beaches, and relax.
