Fantastic beach stay

My family and I loved this place! We rented from Mary Lee and Joe for a week for our friend's wedding. Not only was the wedding moved once due to the pandemic, but it was moved again. Mary Lee and Joe were so accommodating and because they had the availability, they allowed us to move our rental without any charges or complications, which we were so grateful for. They were also both very communicative during our stay and available if we needed anything The place is perfect for a couple or small family and has everything you need inside. And you cannot beat the proximity to both the beach and to town. Nothing like waking up and walking 20 steps to an amazing view! We will absolutely be renting from them again in the future and encourage everyone else to do so as well!

Great getaway

We had a great time in LBI staying at this property. The location is a great proximity to the beach and center of town. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. We will be repeat customers.

Perfect beach vacation

This was a great spot. Literally steps from the beach. The beach is basically your backyard. 2nd street is very central to everything and an easy entrance to beach to carry your gear onto. The owners are wonderful. Very prompt and answered all questions. Condo was fully loaded with everything you need. And it’s great to take a dip in the pool after a hot day at the beach. Also not a crowded pool. If there were other open weeks then I would book them!!

Perfect Beach Home

We stayed at this condo for 2 weeks in August. The owners could not have been more accommodating! The unit is not huge but has everything you need and more (including a huge lobster pot). I have been renting summers on LBI for 24 years now and this is the first house I found with everything. I always pack a few thing that I assume I won’t find in the vacation homes I rent (based on experience) like tape, scissors, flashlight, a decent spatula, sharp steak knife, etc. but this house had all those little things. It even had blankets! All this and firm beds as well as cute touches of the shore all over that were tastefully done. Lighthouse nightlight, LBI pictures, nice bathroom decor. It also has a lot of closet and drawer space and lots of windows. The best part was sitting on the front deck to read or just people watch. Great outdoor shower and the pool was a great plus especially when the ocean was rough. I just can’t say enough about this home and the wonderful owners! You will adore it!

Perfect location and condo!

Wonderful experience! First time renting here with my husband and 3 year old daughter, although I've been renting in LBI for years. Fantastic location right next to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and Bay Village shopping. The condo is clean and perfect size for a small family. Great deck outside to relax on. Pool was not open yet because it was too early in the season, but I purposely went early since we are expecting another baby to arrive late Summer. The owners are an absolute pleasure to work with...in fact we lost 5 days out of 7 due to bad weather and they offered us to go back the following weekend so that my daughter could have fun in the sun:) I will definitely be back next year to rent with them again!!! You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic Vacation!

This was our 6th summer on LBI and Beach Haven and our most memorable. Joe and Mary Lee's home is perfectly situated to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and activities Beach Haven has to offer without driving the car. Everything is within walking distance. Their home is just steps from the beach, it is tastefully decorated and very clean, comfortable and cozy for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds! And we enjoyed the front porch for relaxing after dinner. The entire process of renting from the Gaffneys was stress-free and totally uncomplicated. This had to be one of our best vacations on LBI. Thank you Joe and Mary Lee for making your home available to us! We're already looking forward to renting again next year.

Great stay...Great Place..Great Location

We stayed at Mary Lee and Joe's place and it was great. Can't beat the proximity to the beach. We brought our little one and it was perfect being that we needed to carry all the baby related items to the beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping as well. The place itself was immaculate and a pleasure to be in. Highly recommend!
Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway.
