Description
This bay-side beauty is conveniently located in the heart of Barnegat Light, a block away from the beach. It sits on a large lot with a private, tree lined backyard that is perfect for enjoying a private beach getaway or entertaining friends and family. The house was newly renovated with an open layout, new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel fridge, gas stove, microwave, oven and dishwasher. There are new hardwood floors throughout the main living space and new carpets in each bedroom as well as new furniture and central air. The house was purchased and renovated for personal use but the owners moved out of state and are now renting it. Once you climb a few steps to a covered porch with outdoor shower and enter the house, you are welcomed by a first floor bedroom with queen bed and detached bathroom. You will also find a closet filled with traditional board games and puzzles perfect for night-time entertainment. On the second floor, you will find an expansive living room/dining room/kitchen with a bookshelf filled with classic adult and childrens' books for your beach reading. The living room opens up to an large deck overlooking the private, tranquil, pine tree lined back yard. There is a Weber Genesis gas grill perfect for grilling fresh caught fish, burgers or your favorite vegetables. Enjoy your grilled selection on the new teakwood table and chairs that seats six. The third floor has two more bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry area. The larger master has a king size bed and TV while the adjacent bedroom has two twin beds and is ideal for children. There is a second deck perfect for reading a book or enjoying a cold iced tea just steps away from the bedrooms. If you are looking to cuddle up with your favorite book or to unwind after a day on the beach, there are two TVs with cable conveniently located in the bedrooms and living room.
The house is situated a few blocks from Viking Village where you will find ice cream, coffee, a fresh fish store and plenty of island shopping. Walk in the other direction and you will find a playground, tennis courts, the Light House and plenty of restaurants to enjoy brunch or dinner if you don't want to cook at home. After a day at the beach you can wash off in the outdoor showers and enjoy WiFi and three TVs located throughout the house. Finally, you can avoid Saturday traffic with Friday to Friday rentals. Other amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible: iron/ironing table, DVD player, and CD player/radio.

Great beach house for family
House is nicer than in pics! Very clean and well furnished for beach. Kitchen is fully stocked and grill was great. Nice outdoor space (although too cold to enjoy most days) and great location. I would stay here again. Thank you Meghan!

Nice Bayside Getaway
Very nice property - was just the right size for our party of 5, even though we only needed 1 bed in the multi-bed room. Never got to use the grill since we went out for most dinners. As always Barnegat Light never disappoints. The decks were wonderful for soaking up the sun. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the house
We just completed our stay during off season and we enjoyed the piece and quiet. We didn’t realize there wasn’t much to do or places open after Labor Day but we still enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely and plenty of room for my 18 month old to run around. We loved how the lighthouse was close by and my son enjoyed watching the boats on the water. Meghan the home owner was very nice and quickly responded to any inquiry we had. Would rent this house again (would do in season next time!)

Great Beach House
Our family just completed our stay and we highly recommend this beach house. The house was spotless when we arrived, the rooms are actually bigger than indicated in the photos and the two decks are really nice. The house is well equipped with a wonderful grill. Also the owners were very responsive to any questions we had!

Home away from home
As soon as we arrived it felt like home. Lovely home, perfect set up for our 2 families. Beautiful neighborhood. To biker,run and walk the dog. Beautiful beach. Viking village and restaurants a short walk away. House is so cozy, with 2 great decks you never want to leave. Meghan, the home owner, was wonderful.

Felt like home from the first moment.
I'll keep it short and sweet.
This place is excellent. It was perfectly outfitted to ensure an easygoing comfortable vacation. Updated kitchen & baths, great floors, huge decks, plenty of parking, big bedrooms, beach gear at the ready, close to a clean beach.
Meghan was so responsive to questions and made sure that we were taken care of completely. Very charming as well.
I'd stay here again any time.

Beautiful, perfect place for a vacation!
We HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home and can't say enough about our perfect vacation. It is a very close walk to the beach and bay, has a well-stocked kitchen, and boasts great balconies near the living areas - makes it a fun place to have meals. My two-year old son loved the house and beach - this home is a perfect place to bring families. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with, always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this home and can't wait to come visit again.
