SEA LA VIE! If you're looking for a true beach vacation, look no further. This home, built in 1922, has been meticulously renovated—you get all the modern comforts along with a cedar-sided beach house feel. The house is located on a short beach block with few houses, making the beach extremely private. It has been recently renovated both inside and out and features a new kitchen and two new full baths. There’s a bedroom (with a queen bed) and an adjoining full bathroom on the main floor; upstairs there are three bedrooms (two with queen beds, one with two sets of bunk beds). The house has a charming front porch and a spacious (and completely private) backyard with patio, hammock, gas grill, and outdoor shower. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and features a dining table and patio furniture and an herb garden for tenants to enjoy. The charming shed is stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys and towels. The house is within walking distance to wonderful restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, markets, plus more. Owner writes for HGTV magazine and has strived to make this house feel like a home for guests. Park your car, put on your bathing suit, and leave your stress behind. The most splendid escape
Our family has had the pleasure of renting Sea La Vie for last few years over July 4 week/weekend. This home is so well equipped from top to bottom. Kitchen, Grill, Shed. Multiples of everything you could need! It is so cosy and the open floor-plan on the ground floor makes is easy to entertain (kitchen- dining room - living room) and too can see right through to the back yard to watch kids playing or man the grill. I’m not sure you will find a more charming rental on the island.

Lovely house!!
Sea la Vie is a lovely house just steps from the beach and we absolutely love it, it is perfect for a family vacation. The owners are so helpful and welcoming, the house is well appointed and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of restaurants and markets. We think cottages like this are the best way to enjoy LBI because you don't have to walk up a full flight of stairs to get to the main floor of the house, you are more connected to the beautiful yard and the beach, just a few steps away. We love staying here and will come back year after year!

Sea la Vie
This was our third stay at Sea la Vie. The house is ideal for us (6 adults). It is very well maintained and comfortable, with antique charm and modern amenities. The backyard is well set-up, with a seating and a shed that contains all your beach needs. The screen porch is a comfortable setting for reading and dining. The location is perfect, a few steps from the beach and the bay and within walking distance of restaurants and markets. The owners are very responsive to our needs and a delight to work with. We look forward to coming back again.

A summer favorite!
This is everything you need ... great home with all the extras, close to the beach, beautiful backyard and front porch. This was our second year and I hope we'll be back again next year. Colleen is a terrific and responsive owner. Check this house out ... you won't be disappointed!

Perfect vacation rental
We were a group of 3 couples ranging in age from 27 to 75. Sea La Vie was the perfect house for us. The house is charming with very modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. The garden in the back adds to the charm. The screen porch was a comfortable setting for reading and dining. The property is exceptionally well maintained with everything we needed for our time at the shore. Colleen was easy to work with. We would highly recommend this rental and will definitely consider going back.

Great vacation!
Sea La Vie was the perfect house for our yearly summer vacation in LBI. Proximity to the beach was a huge convenience as well as any beach accessory you could think of was available for us in the backyard shed. Albeit old, the home was very well equipped and tastefully decorated with plenty of modern day touches. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation close to the beach!

Great House
We have had the pleasure of staying a week at this house 2 of the last 3 summers. My wife and I have 3 young children and the house provides everything you could ask for. Charm, plenty of room, close to the beach, great back yard to unwind at the end of the day, screened in front porch to enjoy at night, a shed filled with all your beach needs, a full kitchen to cook, a grill to bbq, etc, etc, etc.
LBI has quickly become one of our favorite places and Colleen and her family have made this house the place we think of when we plan our trips. My family and I look forward to hopefully spending many future summer vacation weeks at this special place.
