David and Nancy’s house is lovely with ample space and great amenities. It has a spacious backyard deck in the back perfect for times when one may not want to venture down to the beach and just stay behind and lounge there. The owners were very receptive to any of our questions or concerns. Most of all the location is GREAT.It is so close to the beach making it convenient for one to go back and forth as needed. Having The Acme Supermarket near by for necessary or forgotten items is a plus. And, of course Skipper Dipper up the street became a daily ritual with its array of ice cream flavors. We look forward to a return visit

My family rented this house the week of 8/13-20. We paid $6000 on time as stated in the agreement. We are still waiting for the owner to return our security deposit of $500. We have been in contact with Mr. Rackow on numerous occasions via phone and email, each time he states he is sending our deposit back. We are going on 3 months from our rental at his house and still no security deposit returned. Please be aware that if you rent this property, it is a hassle to get your deposit back.

David's home was simply perfect for our multiple family getaway to LBI. We have all been coming for generations to LBI, so we know the range of what is out there for rentals. This was just perfect. It was great for its super close location to the beach, allowing us to go back and forth for lunches and bathrooms and respite from the sun. The back patio and front porch were perfect for reading in the shade or cocktails. (The front porch with the fan was my mom's favorite!). With so many bedrooms, we had plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms so no one felt that they were on top of each other. Well stocked and nicely redone kitchen also made things great.
This is clearly a family home, and it felt great to be able to make our own family memories in a place that was clearly already full of others' memories.
Great for people with limited mobility, as it is a ranch; there are not that many of these left on the island!
Finally, being across from ACME helps limit the street traffic as well as quick access for those items we needed. Walking to Skipper Dipper on multiple nights was DANGEROUS for my waistline, but that's what vacation is for.
We will be returning next year for sure!

What a great house. Plenty of room, very clean. Had all kitchen items you would need or want. Backyard was awesome. Nice breeze in the shade of the trees. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. And looking forward to going back next year.
