Description
Grab your family and come on down to Long Beach Island. Harvey Cedars is one of the most sought after family vacation spots at the Jersey shore. Our home is made for families and entertaining and we want you to enjoy it like it's your own. Start your morning on one of the porches under the shade of the awning or in the sunlight with your coffee and book. Make breakfast for the entire family in the spacious kitchen then walk to the guarded beach for the afternoon. After the beach, stop at Neptune Market and Neptune liquors for dinner and some cocktails. Enjoy the spacious outdoor shower, play a game with the kids and head back out to the deck for some sunset cocktails while preparing dinner. Then enjoy your feast on the back deck under the moonlight. Wake up the next day and do it all over again or head to the north end of the island to visit Old Barney or to the south end for shopping and the amusement and water parks. This vacation promises the perfect blend of relaxation and fun family time however you choose to spend it.
Plenty of shops and restaurants are within 2 blocks of our home: Neptune Market and restaurant, Harvey Cedars Shellfish, Black Eyed Susans restaurant, Ray's Sunset Pizza, The Red Chair, Birdy's Cafe & Market and Neptune Liquors.
Note that this is a Friday to Friday rental so that you can enjoy an entire weekend. Beach badges, beach chairs, sheets and towels provided. Sleeps 12 comfortably.

Policies
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST VACATION INSURANCE FOR ALL BOOKINGS. Before renting, we would like to speak with you or correspond through email regarding your needs & requirements and our rental policies. We are the owners and our names are Janine and Jim Mazzarelli. We can be reached by email, text or phone at [email protected] or 610-416-3094. 50% due at booking.
50% due 45 days prior to stay
Security Deposit due 45 days prior to stay and refunded within 14 days of end of rental if no damage.
Owner's Cancellation Policy:
The agreement shall be terminated only after another tenant is secured for the full rental period at the rate agreed upon for the week. If the property is re rented for the cancelled period, deposit monies paid, less 10% of the total rent will be returned. If the property is not re-rented for the full amount, the full rental deposit is forfeited. All cancellations must be in writing. Your reservation will be in effect upon receipt of your deposit and the cancellation policy will apply. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, including hurricanes, or for activities beyond the control of the OWNER. We recommend all guests purchase trip insurance to cover any possible cancellations.
Pets allowed at owners discretion and with an additional $500 security deposit refundable within 14 days if no damage.

Another great week
We love LBI and this house. We have a large family gathering every year and take turns hosting at our rentals. This house is perfect for this and so much more. We love the decks for coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings. The house is conveniently located for a morning walk to Neptune market for fresh bagels and pastries to start the day. If you have little ones, you are not far from Bay Beach for swimming.
We look forward to next year and more "unlimited family fun" on LBI!

3rd Floor Living
Janine and Jim’s house exceeded our expectations! The view from the 3rd floor deck was fantastic overlooking the bay, day and night. We brought plenty of beach gear but there was plenty more in case we forgot. Bikes, a kayak, surf boards, umbrellas, wet suits and much more was provided in the first floor garage, along with a second fridge for beach refreshments. Sunsets were best viewed at the end of the block and were epic! Kitchen with living and dining room with large table on the top floor was convenient once moved in. Barbecue on front deck made grilling convenient off kitchen. Neptune deli was great for anything you forget or a quick bite. Harvey Cedar Shellfish was a great BYOB spot that now takes credit cards. Liquor store on the corner is well stocked. Thanks for a great stay Janine.

Host is amazing! LBI is just how I remembered it - even better!
I spent every summer on LBI from when I was born until I was 30 but have not been back for about 10 years. What a treat it was to spend the week with my sister and her children at Janine's lovely home in Harvey Cedars. The best parts of the house are the upstairs living area, the dining porch, the two decks, and the great outdoor shower. The house has lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The garage is stocked with bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, surfboards - all the toys one needs for a great beach week.
The best part of the house is the location - steps away from a magnificent sunset, and a super short walk to the beach. In between is one of the best restaurants on LBI, an ice cream shop, Neptune Market, Foodies and Birdies. The view from the south deck was amazing on fireworks night!
I also must compliment the host - Janine lives right around the corner and was there to give restaurant advice or answer any question you might have.
But no place is completely perfect - the kitchen is missing a few things (bread knife, colander, casserole) and the master bathroom is in need of a reno.

LOVE LOVE VIEWS, PEACE, ACCESS!!!
this home was fabulous! we absolutely loved the top deck, overlooking the bay where we had peaceful morning coffee and evening sunsets, daily. The host was wonderful. We used the primary and one bunk room, primarily, which was great for our little kids. our nanny slept in the back which was wonderful and separate with adjoining bath. LOVED The access to restaurants, deli, liquor store on the corner! and the guys at the firehouse were super friendly. my kids loved passing by every day. THANK YOU to our wonderful HOST!! This home is a GEM and has turned us into LBI FANS!

Great family vacation spot
This was the perfect house and spot for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed to relax and entertain extended family and friends. Thoroughly enjoyed the views from the decks especially with morning coffee and evening cocktails. There is a small market which is just up the street as well as many restaurants within walking distance and the beach is beautiful. Janine is close by and she goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. We love this place and plan to rent again in 2024!

Amazing week at the beach
We stayed here for a week with another family. The upstairs was such a retreat for us, with amazing views of the bay. The neighborhood is relaxed but extremely walkable to shops and restaurants. And what an easy walk to the beach, even with young kids in tow!. Janine was very gracious in welcoming us and even ordering new things like a beach carrier/wagon during our stay to assist us along the way. We would definitely come back!
