Description
Welcome to "Island's End Ocean House", located in the newly developed family-friendly Holgate community. This is the original Island's End model home, and it's directly across the street from the beach, steps from the bay, and offers spectacular ocean views from inside and out.
The reverse living home offers 3 floors of living space with a 3-stop elevator. The open-concept third floor features a living room with a gas-stone fireplace, a dining room, and a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There is also access to outside seating . The second floor has 4 bedrooms, including an ensuite, and access to seating on a second deck. There is also a family room with a wet bar. The ground level offers a game room and a screened-in porch that leads directly outside to the in-ground saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen, and shower. Enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets, and a full view of the Atlantic City skyline from the furnished rooftop deck.
The third floor features the open concept kitchen/dining room/living room (with a smart TV), a master suite with a king bed (and a smart TV), a private bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The outdoor deck (which is accessible from the living room and dining room) features an outdoor eating table and chairs, as well as a second grill.
The second floor features a second family room with a wet bar (and a smart TV), board games, a junior master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom, a third and fourth bedroom (with smart TVs) with queen beds, the fifth bedroom with bunk beds, a full bathroom with a tub, a laundry room, and a furnished deck.
The first floor is the entry to the 3-stop elevator and garage access, and it comes with a beach cart, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and toys. The game room has board games, an Xbox, Classic Arcade table, and a sitting area.
The outdoors features a 14'x30' heated, saltwater pool in a private, fenced-in yard. There are lounge chairs around the pool, a covered and furnished patio with a smart TV, an outdoor kitchen, and an outdoor shower.
The house is near the bayfront park, where you can find a jungle gym, swings, basketball, and public tennis courts. It's also a very short walk to Bowker's South Beach Grill for breakfast, lunch, or any needed essentials. The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife refuge is also a short walk from the house, and it's a great place for a long walk on the beach. Surfing access is just 2 blocks away.
Beach Haven is 2 miles away, and there you'll find bars and restaurants, Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Thundering Surf Water Park, food stores, liquor stores, and a pharmacy.
Pets/animals are strictly prohibited-due to extreme allergies in the family.

Another great week
This is the second year in a row that we've rented this amazing house. The house has everything you need and the location is amazing. We love all of the outdoor options at the house and it is incredibly comfortable.

Great Vacation House!
Our extended family found Islands End just perfect! This house with an elevator, pool and 5 bedrooms is what we need. This house provides so much more. The seating areas throughout are perfect for quieter times and for small group gatherings. We loved the screened in porch and the second floor balcony. The property is spotless and fully equipped with everything you could think of & all is in perfect condition.
The location is at the southern end of the island providing minimal traffic but yet is close enough to town. There is plenty of biking and foot traffic for the people watchers in your group. It just two blocks to the very end where you can access the beach without a climb over the dunes and where you can watch the surfers when the waves are right.
The owner was a pleasure to work with and is very responsive. We definitely recommend Islands End

Dream House
The End Ocean House was simply spectacular. We have rented in LBI for many years but this was one of the most comfortable and well appointed houses ever. The owners have thought of every amenity for a stress free, true vacation.

Lovely rental with everything you need
You can’t go wrong renting this home. This is our second stay here. The location is convenient, at the quiet southern end of LBI. Just walk across the road to the beach, or down one block to the bay, with playground, tennis and basketball courts. Walk 2 blocks to a small convenience store, and the public beach with parking and entrance to the wildlife preserve. A 3-5 mile drive up the road brings you to shops, amusements, and a selection of restaurants. The separate living section on the 2nd floor with its own deck is ideal for families. The playroom is a fun space and there is a screened porch with comfortable seating adjacent to the pool and patio area. The house is clean and well maintained. The elevator is the best we’ve ever experienced in a home setting, and so helpful with luggage and groceries. There are toys, games and books for various ages. The kitchen is well stocked, and the décor is as pleasing as a beach home can be. Owner is gracious and responsive. It’s worth every penny, you will have a wonderful vacation at this home.

Beautiful and incredibly stocked house
Not only was this house beautiful in every way, but the owner was just so helpful and available for any little question at all. She also told us to use any food or products that were in the home and make ourselves at home. Andrea was welcoming and my family and I treated her home like it was ours. Highly recommend this home.

Amazing rental
The house was exactly as described and more. Lots of incredible places to hang out, well appointed kitchen, beds we’re comfortable, everything you need to have a great week with family and friends. Walk to the beach is short and the drive or bike to town is easy. It’s on a quiet part of the island which was great too.

Summer Vacation
We had a wonderful time at this home! Perfect location and the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need in a pinch from cookware and utensils, coffee mugs and wine glasses, all outdoor play from soccer balls and games, bikes and beach chairs! It literally had everything. Also comfy furniture which was great. I will definitely consider staying there again next summer! Thank you!

Memorial Day long weekend
This house was perfect for us in every way, grandparents, children and 2 granddaughters. We had more than enough room and could even accommodate a friend who stayed over one night, and another niece and her little one who had been staying on LBI and surprised us for Sunday breakfast. The house is stunningly decorated with quality furnishing and beach decor, and was immaculately clean. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and one is a bunk bed paradise for little children, with an additional comfortable lounge area and porch, and plenty of room to play games or watch tv. Downstairs there is a game room which looks suitable for older tween/teen groups, as well as a bonus screened in porch which leads directly to the sparkling clean heated saltwater pool. There is a large gas grill adjacent to the pool area, and the hardscape and landscape is impeccable. The upstairs kitchen is a dream, with everything you need. The beach is a short stroll across the street, the wildlife refuge just a few blocks south. While the whole refuge wasn’t open because of spring nesting plovers, rangers were on hand to to show us trails that were open. Walk one block west from the house and get to a charming bay area that the children loved, which also had a great playground. Retired marine biologist grandpa loved identifying the various creatures in the shallow safe bay, including a live conch and horseshoe crabs. Just a short drive away there is great shopping, a cute ice cream shop and another larger playground. The house has the best residential elevator we have ever experienced in a rental and it really helped bringing in luggage and groceries. The house is part of a relatively new development in quiet Holgate, which looks quite different from the town we used to go to for bird watching many years ago, but it is done very tastefully. The neighboring homes seemed to be occupied by family groups and it had a small town feel. There is a small walkable restaurant/sweet shop establishment down the street. Although we didn't use them, the owners generously offer their bicycles, beach chairs, a kayak, and various outdoor sport and game equipment available for you to use. The home does not come with linens or towels, but does have wonderful pillows and bedding. We rented our supplies from LBI DreamMakers (including beach towels) and it was very convenient. We had one of our nicest vacations at this home. No one wanted to leave! The owners were very helpful and easy to contact, although we didn't have any issues at all during our stay. If you are considering this home as a possibility for your vacation, don't hesitate, it is worth every penny, you will not be disappointed. The pictures really don’t do the home justice, it is absolutely lovely. It was such a comfortable appealing place close to everything you would want in a beach vacation. Treat yourself and book your vacation at this house.!

Summer Vacation
This home was absolutely stunning and had everything a family could want. It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. We've been renting at the Jersey shore for years, and this was the best rental home we've ever stayed in. The kitchen was perfect and had everything needed, as well as plenty of games, pool loungers and toys, and beach equipment. The location was a 2-minute walk to the beach, and the rooftop deck offered beautiful sunsets. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back soon and make it our new summer spot!
