My family has rented homes on LBI for multiple decades. Every place is different and offers different things.
When reading the listing, I felt the location left something to be desired. However, after our stay, i felt differently. The home was a dream and the kitchen was outfitted with upscale appliances and was a cook's dream. The indoor space gave our family of five plenty of room for privacy. The roof deck and other decks gave us plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. We are excited to return.

We rented this home as a “late” rental (late May signup) and felt lucky to get it. It’s a perfect distance from the beach (about a block and a half) and is proximal to the Acme (12-13 blocks), public basketball and pick all courts and tons of great restaurants. The house is spacious and comfortable; a beautiful design with more than enough room for our family and some guests. Big screen TV, fireplace, plenty of beach chairs too. This house has got a lot going for it. Several outdoor decks and furniture and we really loved the deck on the top of the house in the evening. 8 beach badges were more than enough, I thought, as well.
A few things I’d wish I’d have known: you’ll need to rent linens (an annoyance, but surprisingly common on LBI) and better bring things like every Condiment and spice you’ll need. There was ONLY salt and pepper there. Again, not what we are used to in many rentals, but not the end of the world, either.
Important to note that the house backs up to the Dept of Public Works yard for the town. Mondays thru Sat starting at 5:30-6:00am you’ll hear the garbage trucks, etc with their “backup beeps” starting work. My wife and I are early risers but if you are not, you should be aware of this. Also, our adult kids we using the second floor bedrooms and complained to us that “the slightest tip-towing upstairs comes through the second floor ceilings very loudly”. I came down and listened and it was true. (Which is surprising to me because the house felt very solidly built).
Overall we had a great week there and would recommend the home to others for rental.

Behind the house are public works garages that the town uses to do repair work on the town vehicles. The owners have spent a lot of time at the house and note that the truck traffic is infrequent. There have been no other complaints. Due to covid, it was recommended that no consumables be left behind, including spices. The owners are making continued improvements as this home is new and they are learning still what is needed. Thanks for taking the time to leave this kind review.
