[A note about changeover days - we decided as a courtesy to our guests for Summer '22 to make the changeover day SUNDAY instead of Saturday. It worked so well, we are continuing with this going forward . The traffic on and off the Island on Saturday is much worse than on Sundays - this makes it much more pleasant to get here as you are starting your vacation and much easier to depart at the end of your stay.]

PLEASE NOTE: not all LBI neighborhoods are the same. Our house is in a very bucolic and relaxing enclave that will captivate you. You can walk out the door in the evening and take 20 steps to see the sun set over the bay and walk down to the waters edge with your coffee and just have a long deep moment of piece. Then, since the island is only three blocks wide where the house is, you can walk two short blocks to the beach at 6AM and see the sunrise early the next morning. And it makes a great place for kids to bike around, too because there is not a lot of traffic. This is a special little neighborhood that even we did not fully "get" when we purchased the house. We get it now! :).
[We are steps away from the Brant Beach Yacht Club (seriously, it's a 20 second walk). If you have a wedding in the fall we are happy to work with you - call us!]
LOCATION - a nearly perfect location only about a 6 minute drive south of the causeway. Custard Hut is a five minute walk. There is a fantastic upscale convenience store one block from the house that makes hot breakfast sandwiches in the morning, and has great bagels. Drive four minutes south to get to the only real supermarket on the Island (ACME). 4 more minutes past that at you are in Beach Haven and Bay Village with all the shops, stores, restaurants, fudge places, ice cream parlors, plus Fantasy Island Amusement Park, and Thundering Surf waterpark. Several mini golf courses are close too. And if you need to go to CVS for suntan lotion, or any sundries, thats just five minutes north at the causeway (and Dunkin, and WaWa which also has great sandwiches and great coffee). And yet where the house is, is peaceful and quiet.
(note: no bay access for swimming at the Yacht Club unless you are a member. But there is a little public bay beach a few blocks south - but the ocean beach is closer )
We put a lot of careful attention into our beach house to make it fun, relaxing and reliable. We hope our guests will love it as much as we do.

This is not a party house. No teenagers unsupervised by parents.
Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Leave it as you found. If anything is broken or missing upon check in, please let us know immediately.
CANCELLATIONS - RENTERS can only cancel their reservation in writing. If the RENTER cancels the reservation before the Check-in date, The OWNER will make every attempt to book another reservation for the same time period. If the Rental Property is re-booked at the same rate or greater, RENTER will receive a full refund of the amount paid minus a 15% service fee to re-list and rebook the property.
We STRONGLY encourage RENTER to purchase Travel Insurance along with their reservation. A ‘Cancel for any Reason’ Travel Insurance Policy protects the RENTER’S investment in the event of unexpected and catastrophic events.
A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of making your reservation. The remaining 50% and security deposit will be due 30 days prior to arrival.

A Great Place to Spend Seventeen Days
Our family of nine spent seventeen days in LBI at 5804 Bayview Avenue.
The house was beautifully furnished with all the latest appliances.
Everything worked! If there were any questions and/or problems Peter was available via phone, or email.

HI Frank - my understanding is you had a great time, and your family loved the place. And we were frequently in contact. The one issue you had was with the sink disposal which I had fixed immediately and quickly. So I am going to assume that the four star rating (the only one I have) was an error on your part. Please reach out to me if there were problems that I was not aware of. it if very important to me that our guests have as GREAT a time as humanly possible.
Great long weekend in LBI
Peter and Maggie opened up their house to myself and a group of my girlfriends so we could have a fun and relaxing LBI trip! The home was clean, spacious, and had every accommodation you’d want from a beach house ( and more). Peter was very responsive and made sure we got settled in without any issues. The house is walking distance to the beach and the bay, we got to see some awesome sunsets and enjoy the great weather from the large back deck. Overall 5/5 trip, house, and experience! Thank you

Great family house
Our extended family had a wonderful end of the summer week at Peter's house. Peter is an awesome host and very organized, easy and pleasant to deal with. His house is newly and tastefully furnished, very organized, and has no clutter. Plenty of space for all. We enjoyed the extra sunroom hangout area upstairs. Walking around the corner to the bay sunset was a fun nightly routine. We all had fun with the pingpong and Pacman in the game room. It was US Open season, so great to have lots of TV's around the house. Ocean beach was about 5 mins walk, and great to have a wagon for chairs etc. Skipper Dipper and Acme are nice and close too. Highly recommended!

Great house, great for families
We had a wonderful and memorable week at this house. I've been going to LBI my whole life and this was a week for the books. Myself, husband and two small children shared the house with my brother, sister in law and their baby. It was a perfect setup and we all had plenty of room. A rare LBI rental with central air, it was a pleasure inside and out. The outside deck, couches and shower made it great for an all day hang. The kids wagon, chairs and toys made the beach walk super easy. Close to Fantasy Island and retail of ship bottom. Highly recommend to anyone in a similar situation.

LBI vacation
This house was great for our extended family of 10. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the outdoor shower and pac man and ping pong table!

Great Stay
Highly recommend this home, it's lovely. Tons of space to spread out, it was great for my older kids who like to have a place away from M&D. Nice big dining room table with plenty of chairs, perfect for eating and playing games. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, glassware and serving stuff. Peter checked in to make sure all was good and was available to answer any questions. It's on a narrow part of the island, so a quick walk to both the bay and the ocean. We caught some great sunsets.... i can't speak for the sunrises :).
