Good Location
This house is very nice and in a great location. Living space was perfect for a large group. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Beach chairs were provided as was an umbrella, which was a plus as we did not have to bring our own.
The only problem we encountered was the cleanliness of the house when we arrived. The maid service, which we had to pay in addition to the rental fee, was lacking, so much so that I ended up cleaning the kitchen counters and stove. Dirty towels were left behind, as was a used sheet on one of the beds. None of these were major, however, I do not expect to clean upon arrival when I rent a home, especially when I have paid quite a lot of money for the rental fee and the cleaners. The pool was also dirty, however, the owner was responsive and did send someone over to clean the pool the day after I alerted him. About 3 days into our vacation, I decided to do some laundry. When I looked on the sides of the washer and dryer, there was garbage (eg, dryer sheets, towel, paper) that clearly had mouse droppings. Unexpected in the summer in my opinion.
I would caution prospective renters that there is a metal spiral staircase to the sun roof. The stairs were narrow, and since we had a toddler with us, we did not feel comfortable using these stairs and therefore the sun roof. In addition, there were only 2 chairs and a small table on the sun roof, so not conducive for our family of 7 to enjoy the roof.
