We strongly encourage RENTER to purchase Travel Insurance along with their reservation. A ‘Cancel for any Reason’ Travel Insurance Policy protects the RENTER’S investment in the event of unexpected and catastrophic events.
A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of making your reservation. The remaining 50% and security deposit will be due 45 days prior to arrival.

Serenity in Surf City
We just returned home from a wonderful vacation at this lovely home, centrally located in Surf City and ideally, on the same street as the best coffee shop on LBI! The home is really cozy with two identical floors, each with complete kitchens and living rooms - it allowed us to invite a variety of guests during our stay and everyone had a fantastic time and their own personal space! We had gorgeous views from the decks, including a wonderful rooftop deck where we viewed amazing sunsets. The home is equipped with everything we needed included some wonderful private outdoor showers and parking for 4 vehicles. This oceanfront home is a fantastic value for that special summer vacation!

Slice Of Paradise
Our stay at Ocean Dream was simply enchanting.. The breathtaking views of the endless ocean and the stunning sunrise each morning made it feel like a true paradise. The stylish furnishings and inviting atmosphere added to the overall charm and ambiance of the property, making it a delightful place to relax and unwind. We were also delighted to find a cozy coffee shop nearby, which became our go-to spot for morning pick-me-ups. The convenience of having this gem just a short walk away added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
One of the highlights of our experience was the exceptional hospitality of our hostess, Toni. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly valued as guests, adding a personal touch that made our experience even more special.
We created countless cherished memories during our time at Ocean Dream, and leaving was undoubtedly the hardest part. We can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

Excellent Beachfront Property
My family and I have been renting Ocean Dream for three years and will be going again this year. This is a comfortable house in an excellent location within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. This past year a nice renovation was completed to top off the excellent views from the decks. It is always a great week for lifelong memories for my family. We have been renting in LBI for many years and this house is the best we have had. I can not wait for this year.

Vacation of a lifetime
There are so many great things to say about this gorgeous ocean front property! Location is everything, and this home is perfectly situated for spectacular ocean views and ease of use of the beach area. Having a private walkway to and from the beach meant a lot to me and my family, especially at night for strolls on the beach and it being beautifully torch lit. I only wish I could upload a picture of the phenomenal sunrise, and an audio of the waves breaking on the beach. Extra special and convenient is having a coffee shop right on the corner within a few minutes walk to the property. The home is immaculate and well stocked with dinnerware and cooking pans, and provides top of the line stainless steel new appliances and a top of the line grill. The home is bright and designed to encompass the great ocean view. The layout made it convenient for our entire family to join together, and yet to have our private areas. We did not have to haul in beach accessories as all are provided. Furnishings are very comfortable and creates the perfect ocean front styling one would like to experience. Our only objection was that the week went by too fast and saying goodbye to this fabulous where we made so many happy family memories. Toni is a wonderful hostess and very gracious. First class property! I and my family loved it!

Ocean Front house in Surf City
I never write a review..too lazy, good or bad..just never find the time BUT I rely on reviews heavily for my choices so I realize how important reviews are. First off, this house is really nice and on the beach. We rented the entire house which is confusing as it's the same on both floors..2 kitchens..bathrooms. Basically identical I imagine the owners have intentions of renting it as 2 seperate units..makes sense. The owners were VERY unresponsive after I sent my check for $13,000 for the week. I spent 2 weeks prior to our trip stalking them via text email and eventually calling their work office as I found on google to make sure this was legit. A scary and annoying 2 weeks worrying about my vacation as I had not heard back, composing a plan B..at midnight.....! Less than 2 days before rental we received the code to the door..phew! When we arrived at 3pm (check-in time) the owners were still cleaning and construction was not complete. We were asked to go to a restaurant and offered 200 off the security (still haven't received it) and come back at 5pm as the workers were still installing a kitchen. Large construction garbage bags were left outside the house. Luckily the beach is on the opposite side and the views are very special. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for my security deposit despite leaving the house immaculate. This is a great location and property. If the owners, very busy people apparently would spring for the extra$$ and have a property manager it would be a great vacation rental. Otherwise, like I am, you will be waiting and waiting for your security deposit, which is annoying and unprofessional.

We are sorry to hear your experience at Ocean Dream the week of 6/24/23 to 7/1/23 was less than favorable. We pride ourselves on prompt communication; in fact, that was the primary reason we took over managing our VRLBI listing so that we could maintain a direct line of communication with our tenants and establish a good rapport and lasting positive relationship. For anyone who does not know, having and maintaining a listing via VRLBI, a very reputable and widely used site for LBI rentals, requires owner verification as a measure of protection for tenants.
From the onset of our email communication, via VRLBI portal, on June 2, 2023- we believe we promptly addressed your inquiries/requests; provided a Lease on 6/5/23; communicated regarding linen services on LBI; voluntarily communicated receipt of funds on 6/8. I did also inform you, on 6/5, that I was having an issue with my aol account designated for Ocean Dream and alternately used my private email address to transmit the Lease. I received an email on 6/21 requesting access codes for the home and spoke and texted with your husband, Richard, on 6/21 who contacted me on my cell that day. I was also in contact with Richard, on more than one occasion during your week stay, all with positive feedback on how all was going well and how you all were having a great time. We apologize if there was any inadvertent oversight in communication; certainly, it was not intentional.
We also extensively apologized for the late check-in. As you are aware, we did have upgrades completed with the objective of improving our tenants’ experience. Unfortunately, we were contending with unforeseen delays with our contractors completing the work as and when they indicated they would; all beyond our control. Any refuse-including boxes from the new appliances installed were left in the proper garbage/recyclable corral at the end of our driveway for pick up.
We did provide a complimentary bottle of wine; offered $200.00 towards your accommodation as well as a late check-out which I understand from our cleaning crew was utilized all as good faith gestures to make up for the late check-in.
We did issue the return of the Security Deposit in full on July 8, 2023, and subsequently mailed a check for $200.00 which we were inadvertently remiss in including with the return of the Security Deposit; all of which was done within two weeks of your check out on July 1st. While our Lease provides for the return of Security Deposit 30 days from date of check out; we also pride ourselves on having a prompt return policy as again we value our relationship with our tenants and also understand given we had been longstanding LBI renters long before we purchased Ocean Dream.
We do hope that your stay in a great, clean and newly renovated home; in the most beautiful location ultimately left you and your family and loved ones with lasting and special memories. We wish you and your family all the best.

Ocean Dream Vacation
I cannot rave enough about the fabulous vacation my family and I had at this beach house. The endless ocean views are spectacular! The outdoor balcony provided the perfect place for my family to barbecue, play board games, read a book and just sit around and have fun… All while having the most amazing ocean views. The kids loved having the ocean steps away.
The house inside was absolutely immaculate and the owners thought of everything. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless . The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. There are plenty of rooms for my whole family and lots of privacy for the kids to play downstairs.
Toni and Carl were very responsive every time I reached out with another question. I can’t wait to book another vacation at LBI’s Ocean Dream for next summer !!!!

Perfect Summer Spot: Our Favorite House in LBI!
A group of my girlfriends have been renting a summer week in LBI since our college years. We have stayed at several homes throughout the island but this house is by far our most favorite. We stumbled upon it last year and plan to make this our summer spot going forward. It fits our budget, the beach is our backyard, it’s easily accessible upon entry to the island, it’s conveniently located to shops and restaurants and the owners.. super friendly and accommodating. The house has everything we needed for our vacation week and it was very clean. It delivered what it promised, unlike many other homes we have rented on the island through the years. Our week for this summer has been reserved since the end of our stay last year! If you’re planning your time away in LBI, You won’t be disappointed with this house!

Another AMAZING week!!!
We came across this rental a few years ago through friends who have been renting this home annually. This was our 2nd year renting this well-kept ocean front home in Surf City - and we have already reserved our week for a 3rd stay in 2023 !! We can hardly wait - we enjoy the direct oceanfront views. We are a large family with 5 kids and elder parents. The location directly on the beach is not only breathtaking but super convenient with beach days. Never did we have an issue or concern with the owners. They were more than accommodating and friendly. They supplied us with beach badges as well! The house is very equipped and had everything we needed... furnishings, beach chairs, and a fully stocked kitchen. All rooms were very clean Very kid friendly as well. Easy stroll to breakfast, coffee shop, ice cream, shops and restaurants. There were days when my parents preferred to just sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of waves crashing and beautiful sunsets while watching the rest of the family play in the ocean. Perfect location. Would highly recommend!

The Perfect Beach Experience
My friends and I rented this amazing beach house in May of 2022. The view from the living room and deck is spectacular with the soothing sounds of the ocean a constant. The house is very comfortable, with two levels to accommodate guests with comfort and privacy. The beach access is right outside side your door and the outdoor shower is very convenient. The location of the house is in walking and biking distance to stores and lovely restaurants. The owners were extremely accommodating and professional.
The house is a gem must stay beach property on LBI.
