DESCRIPTION:
Serenity is our latest luxury listing - Serenity was designed by Louis Shaw (owner/designer of STYLE Vacation Homes by Louis Shaw) Louis has worked with keeping the unique character of the home. The original owner left some very nice original pieces from the 70's. Louis found these pieces to speak to an era in design that showed imagination and sophistication to the current taste of many travelers.
Enjoy ocean views from the first floor living area. Here you will find a comfortable seating area for 7. The room consists of (1) sofa (Italian sleeper no bars) (1) Leather Easy Recliner, 2 additional arm chairs. TV. Living room opens to the dining area and a 3 season sunroom. The 3 season sunroom is equipped with screens and sliding glass panels that offer spectacular ocean breezes even on the hottest of days. The ceiling fan helps with circulating the cool ocean breezes. There is a new coastal casual driftwood dining table that seats 8-9 (if you have little ones sitting on the bench). You can gain access to the outdoor shower through the spring door located on the South corner. To keep the porch tidy, please use the outdoor faucet by the garage or the outdoor shower located on the back of the house facing the ocean side to wash sand off.
Kitchen - The kitchen at Serenity is currently in the process of being completely remodeled and everything will be brand new for Summer of 2022. The renderings are included in the photos of the property. It is of great size with plenty of cabinets and counter space. The spacious design allows for multiple chefs to create their dishes at the same time.
Enjoy cooking or mingling in the kitchen while taking in the ocean views. The views are simply breathtaking to view over the tranquil dunes. You'll find all your cooking and entertaining needs are provided for your use. (see amenities list for details) Dishwasher and garbage disposal is part of the kitchen function.
The back of the kitchen offers large doors that open to your mud sink, and trash storage. It is in this area that you will also find the large commercial capacity Maytag washer and dryer.
Top floor
The home has two living areas. Take the open staircase to the top level where you will find a great room with a seating area that offers amazing full ocean views. This space is a fantastic place to gather for a social event or watching a movie on the 65" smart TV (sorry no cable, bring your Roku stick if you desire to watch TV programs) The seating area is currently being offered with a large sectional paired with occasional tables and ottoman. There are also 2 comfortable swivel, rocking chairs for added seating. In addition, we have included 2 smaller vintage ottomans that store nice under the 11' hand crafted, vintage floating console. This floor offers a slider that leads to the top deck.
Top deck. The top deck offers spectacular ocean views that have the ability to take all your troubles away. The deck is equipped with comfortable seating chairs and tables to entertain 8 people.
The extra large king suite is also located on this level. There are stairs that lead to the roof deck where you can see for miles down the beach and take in spectacular bay side sunsets. We offer 4 chaises with side tables and a patio table. Don't worry about losing the views when sunbathing on the roof deck, you have full ocean views when lounging in the chaises!
THE PROPERTY:
1 twin/king conversion room, 1 king bedroom, each with a smart TV. The room will be set up as you request as either two twins or a king. King bedroom has a private bathroom. Guest bathroom / tub shower combo. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds.
King master suite
The large suite offers a king bed in a tranquil setting with custom vintage builtins used for storing your personal attire. There is an area on the console for hair and make up application. 2 large closets are in the pass way to the private bathroom with tub/shower. The room has a sliding door that offers breath-taking ocean views with a modern seating area.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
*Covid 19 Precautionary Measures: Homeowner has contracted a Linen Company with an upgraded package to include sheets, bath towels, hand towel, and kitchen towels. This is free of charge to the renter in season. Cleaners are spending more time in each home. Cleaners will spend time with the sanitization of high-touch areas (for example, door knobs, wall switches/plates, remotes, lamp switches, appliances (touch-pads and handles).

Perfect Getaway!
My wife and I decided to take a last minute getaway to the Shore for her 60th birthday. We looked at many listings on VRBO but kept coming back to Serenity. There was something about the decor that evoked the 'feeling' we were looking for in our getaway; calm, peaceful, relaxing. We were not disappointed when we saw Serenity in person. Everything was clean and ready for our stay, including a goodies basket from David. The spectacular ocean view and the sound of the waves allowed us to unwind almost instantly. Watching a full moon rise over the ocean was, according to my wife, the best birthday gift she received. Staying at Serenity felt like staying at a boutique hotel. with a great location, inspired decor and low key vibe. Louis was very helpful and attentive to our needs, even making dinner reservations for us. We will definitely return to Serenity.

Oceanfront Getaway
This home was perfect for our quiet beach getaway and exceeded our expectations. The location speaks for itself with captivating ocean views, just steps to the beach. This is a high-end, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated home with an open airy feel. The master bedroom and bathroom are large and tastefully decorated as are the other bedrooms and sitting areas. The dining table in the enclosed porch was a wonderful spot to eat and enjoy the ocean breezes. The home is supplied with everything you could need, the kitchen was well stocked, and the welcome basket was a thoughtful touch. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a huge bonus as were the beach tags. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was very welcoming. Thank you for sharing this very special and inviting home with us!

Serenity is comfortable, beautiful, and clean. We loved staying there in the offseason, watching the ocean, and enjoying the gorgeous beach. (we got lucky, it was 78 degrees most days!) The house is lovely and the decor is high quality and inspiring. We spent a lot of time on the decks and in the pretty dune-facing screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couple or small group of family or friends. We would definitely stay there again, and we hated to leave. Relaxation
Walking into the house and seeing the pastry platter David provided was a pleasant surprise. We would like to thank David for having the beds made for us upon our arrival. We have been in other rentals where linens were provided, but we would have to make up all the beds. The layout of the house worked out very well for us. It was nice to have two open seating areas to watch TV or just relax. Sitting on the top deck in the early morning watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee was the best way to start each day. Fortunately for us, the weather cooperated (Ida somehow missed LBI) and it made our stay even better. As is the case for almost everyone’s vacation, the week flew by and now it just seems like a distant memory. David was the perfect host. Thank you for giving us a lot of great memories. Best, Steve

House was just what we needed
We were very lucky to find this beautiful oceanfront house for our vacation. It was the perfect size for our family and we enjoyed every bit of it. The decor is beautiful and the views are outstanding. In addition, the owner has thought through all the details - his beach chairs are top notch and I even noticed he has toys in the garage in case you have small children. We cooked several nights and everything was there - excellent knives, cutting boards, serving bowls and a large screened in porch to eat in with the sound of the ocean coming through the windows. I believe another family said it best - We don't want to write too good a review so the house is available again for us.

I am very happy with the way the home has evolved since I purchased it over a year ago. The light airy feel and sweeping ocean views are the special features that first attracted me to this home. Over the past year, we have made various changes, including three new custom tile baths, new doors and windows and new flooring throughout. These elements, along with the soothing paint colors and tasteful decor selected by designer Louis Shaw have created a beachfront home worthy of its name, Serenity. We are very excited about the continued evolution of this home, as we add a brand new kitchen and laundry area this winter.

Total Serenity!
There could not be a better name for this home! There is no more peaceful or calming feeling than being on one of the multiple decks of this home. My family has been renting in LBI every summer for over thirty years and this is the most beautiful house by a long shot! It is decorated beautifully with attention to detail but is also very practical. All of the bathrooms have just been updated. The whole home was clean as can be on arrival. The views from the decks and inside the home are breathtaking! It is on the perfect spot of the island, where there are still things to do but in a quieter location. The homeowner was extremely responsive throughout our stay and even left us a giant tray of pastries for when we arrived. We enjoyed them the whole week. To top it all off we were able to bring our dog!!

This is fast becoming our favorite vacation home. Every element is selected with great care. In addition to a wonderful location, the home offers lovely decor and ample room for all to join together or spread out. We were there for almost four weeks and still were ready to leave. Great Home on LBI
