Description
Oceanfront home with wonderful beach views from two decks. Home layout is reverse living with kitchen, dining, living and master bedrooms on top level for best views. Located a stone's throw from a life guarded beach (during summer season). Park your car for the week as stores, restaurants and other services are a short walk away. House is located on a flag lot for privacy from the street. Guarded bay beach for younger children is a short walk. Sunset Park has a playground, ball field, tennis courts, basketball court as well as a dock for fishing and crabbing. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outside shower and relax on one of the two decks overlooking the ocean. Throw some burgers on the barbeque and watch the sunset over the bay. Eight beach badges will be provided for access to Harvey Cedar's ocean and bay beaches. The house was re-sided and all the windows replaced in January 2018. Keywords: Single Family House

wonderful time, great location
Despite the rough surf from ocean swells, we really enjoyed our week here. The beach is a short walk away as are a number of convenient stores and restaurants. We found the house to very clean and well-appointed with ample parking and excellent beach views from the second floor deck.

The best beach vacation ever!
Lovely home, perfect location, so many amenities provided. Comfortable and welcoming room layout. Two large decks with great vistas. A short walk to beach either on the sand or on a ramp which provides easy access for beach carts/strollers. The best beach home we’ve ever rented. Looking forward to next year!

Fantastic week on Long Beach Island
Our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) had the most wonderful week at Long Beach Island. This home is beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor shower was the absolute hit for us all - incredibly convenient. And the supply of just about everything (including toys, games, beach supplies etc for the kids) was very generous. The ease and convenience of a week in your home is remarkable — and of course the beach is exceptional: beautiful, wide, clean and right there.
It’s a great house and we are hoping that we will be able to spend future summer weeks at your home on LBI.

Perfect Beach House
We have been renting homes at LBI for more than 20 years and this one is the best we've found. I concur in all of the praises given in other reviews: comfortable, roomy, fully equipped, easy to keep clean, wonderful support from owner. In addition to being the briefest of walks to the beach, it still provides great privacy and is also a short walk to a fabulous grocery/market and two top-flight restaurants. And, come sundown, you are a few short blocks from the bay so you can enjoy the light show.

Lovely Home in Harvey Cedars
We stayed at this house during our first trip to LBI & loved it. It was steps from the beach, felt large & comfortable & the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The house is decorated very nicely, was easy to keep clean & is well-kept. Our favorite part of the house was the deck where we enjoyed the view, breeze & beautiful sunrise every morning. The location is quiet but walking distance to the market, ice cream parlor & a few restaurants. The owners were generous & responded very quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

Good value with very nice owners
The owners of this house are extremely accommodating and were very responsive to our emails prior to renting and our requests during our stay. They overnighted an umbrella that had been broken by the previous tenants and helped us get the awning working when the circuit breaker blew, etc.
The house:
Pros:
- location: on a beautiful beach right in front of lifeguard stand
- walk to deli, liquor, food, bar, ice cream, bay sunset watching
- spacious living space upstairs and deck
- well stocked house with linens, towels, some beach chairs (not great), kitchen supplies (could have used a platter or two for serving and a pitcher)
- rooms were nice, beds pretty comfortable
- deck furniture comfortable
- good bbq
- good outdoor shower
Cons:
- not sure a/c would have been adequate in the master upstairs bedroom if it was really hot. Livingroom has a separate unit to make up for poor forced air ducts, but master doesn't. It wasn't very hot during our week.
- Dining table outside wasn't big enough for all of us (7), so we ate inside most nights.
We would rent this place again. It's not fancy, but was an easy, beautiful place to be.
