My wife and I (along with our 4 month old baby) spent the week enjoying all that LBI had to offer ... Joanne's home did not disappoint and provided the perfect home base for our trip
The home is extremely clean and very well decorated, most other rental units I looked at in this price range tended to be older / less clean
The sunsets on the second floor porch were amazing, we had seafood dinners out there almost every single night.
The proximity to the coffee shops / markets / butchers of Surf City is perfect but you are right on the cusp of north beach where the beaches are much less crowded.
