Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 10 AM.
Cancellation Policy: The tenant shall be responsible for the entire lease. If the tenant wishes to cancel for any reason, the tenant must do so in writing to the owner. The lease shall be terminated only after another tenant is secured or permission from the owner is given.

Oceanfront Retreat
We just spent a week in this outstanding oceanfront home. The sound of the waves breaking on the shore was a constant, peaceful backdrop to our vacation. We were able to watch sunrise from the front deck and sunset from the rooftop deck. We made multiple meals in the spacious kitchen and barbecued on the deck. Our extended family, from the youngest (age 2) to the oldest (let’s just say pretty old :) had plenty of space for sleeping and privacy. If you’re looking to be immersed in all the sights and sounds and salt air of the pristine beaches of LBI, look no further. This is a one of a kind oceanfront retreat.

An Ocean Front Dream
Our family just had a wonderful vacation at Sandy Haven house in Ship Bottom. A beautiful home atop the majestic ocean ! Morning , noon and night the briny air and rolling waves fill you with peace and wonder. The owner is a wonderful host and has created the perfect get away . His home is spacious and has recently been updated with comfortable changes. Thank you Chris!

Deserves more than 5 stars
Just got back from a perfect week in the perfect house for us on LBI. Three generations of our family got to enjoy our vacation in this amazing home. It offered plenty of "common" space for us all (16) to be together, and also plenty of places to spend time alone, from the private bedrooms, to the 2nd & 3rd floor decks, to the rooftop deck, to the deck at the main entrance, and also the quiet spaces in the sand behind and to the side of the house. The views from this house were amazing. We got to enjoy sunrises without leaving the house, and from the rooftop deck we got to enjoy the sunsets. The home is situated between two homes, which offers plenty of quiet, yet is one block from the center of LBI and convenient to everything. We were pleased to find that the home had recently had many updates, new furniture, and it had such a fresh, clean feel. Also, we had enough parking for our 7 vehicles on the property. Needless to say, we did not want to leave at the end of the week. The homeowner was a pleasure to deal with...quick to respond and genuinely wanted to make sure that all went well for us. We are really hoping to rent this wonderful home again.

Perfect family beach house
We chose LBI for a family beach vacation and so glad that we chose this house. Newly remodeled as you can see in the photos, it was absolutely perfect for us. The location is amazing…with fantastic views from the 3rd floor and rooftop deck. Chris was really easy to communicate with throughout our selection process and through our entire stay. We definitely recommend this property and surely would stay again.

The Best of LBI
This house is big, beautiful, and spotless. It is literally steps from the beach. The sound of the waves breaking on the shore provide a peaceful backdrop to whatever you might be doing. There are unlimited views of the ocean from the upper floor: whether you're in the living room, at the oversized dining room table, in the master bedroom, or on one of the upper decks, all you can see is sand, surf, and the horizon. The house is in Ship Bottom. We weren't familiar with LBI, but it turns out that Ship Bottom is in the center of the island, therefore as close as possible to all that LBI has to offer. The Barnegat Lighthouse, on the northern tip of the island, and the National Wildlife Refuge in Holgate, at the southern end of LBI, are both nine miles away. If you'd like an oceanfront getaway for the whole family, this is it. The best of LBI.

Heavenly House
Last summer we visited LBI for the first time and we had such a wonderful time in this gorgeous home we decided to return. While it was fun exploring last year, (The National Refuge in Holgate, the Lighthouse etc) we realized the best view, the best sights and sounds are right there on the deck of this house facing the Ocean. Visiting the Seashore is a dream when you are right on the Beach! Chris is an amazing Host and his Sandy Haven House cannot be better!

Perfect family gathering!
We had generations of our family stay the week. It was such a perfect house for us. The grandparents stayed on the top floor. The families with young ones stayed on the middle floor, and the older kids enjoyed the basement.
It was so perfect walking out the door and right onto the beach. We enjoyed dinners on the deck. It was just such a perfect stay.
We would definitely rent this house again.

A Week At The Beach
We hoped to have a family gathering at the beach and after looking at numerous listings we saw the house at 1611 Ocean Avenue in Ship Bottom. We felt it was just what we were looking for. Upon arrival we found that it far exceeded our expectations.
As nice as the photos are, they do not do it justice. The rooms are large and comfortable, a fully stocked kitchen and a BBQ on a deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. One really could not wish for more! When they say "steps to the beach", they are not kidding.
If you want to go to sleep and wake up with the sound of the waves meeting the shore, this is the house. What a blessing to see the sunrise from the deck and the sunset from the upper deck every day! It was a dream come true

Lots of space and great views!
Our family spent a wonderful week here. Plenty of living and sleeping space for mom, dad, three adult children and visitors. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need - even some great serving bowls and storage containers. The ocean view from the main living space is fantastic due to the wall of windows. The large dining table was our go-to spot for meals, games, work and conversation. We loved the main floor deck. It was a great outdoor space during the cool spring weather, letting us enjoy the warmth of the sun as the house blocked the breeze coming off the bay. Great location on a quiet street with plenty of off-street parking.
