This impeccably maintained home is located just one block from the ocean and bay, and walking distance to numerous stores, bars, restaurants and activities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and professionally maintained, with automatic security lighting around the perimeter. We have added an addendum to our lease to cover COVID 19 restrictions. It ensures all of your money will be refunded in the event you are unable to fulfill the lease due to COVID 19 related issues.
Featuring an open floor-plan, the living room, kitchen and dining area are all part of a great room, with high ceilings and two ceiling fans. Enjoy the reading nook in a reclining massage chair. There is a Roku Smart TV, featuring access to full Comcast cable offerings, as well as streaming services. WIFI is accessible throughout the house. The house is fully air-conditioned and features a smart thermostat, with room temperature and occupancy sensors to optimize comfort, along with ceiling fans in each bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a new refrigerator, dishes, glasses and flatware for 8 people, plus a dishwasher. There is a large dining table that accommodates 8 people, and a washer/dryer for your use in the hallway utility room.
The house has 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds), 2 full bathrooms (plus an outdoor shower for after the beach), and a queen-sized pullout sleeper sofa in the living room. All with new mattresses. Since we provide all bed linens and towels, save the linen rental money (up to $500/wk) for parasailing! There is an attached two-car garage with automatic door openers, an adult bicycle, as well as a variety of beach equipment that is free to use (four beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, inflatables, toys/games). Eight beach badges are provided. The house has a brand new for 2021 enlarged outdoor deck with a gas BBQ/utensils, table and chairs. Climb the spiral staircase to the upper deck, for sunbathing and a view of the lighthouse. The house is not recommended for families with children under the age of 5.

Barnegat Light is the best-kept secret on LBI. The beaches are wide and never crowded, there is a bay beach for the little ones, and the bike lanes are the widest and safest on the island. This house is perfectly situated in Barnegat Light where you can walk to the lighthouse, Jenn's Links,- the beautiful new miniature golf course, Poppy's Ice Cream, Mustache Bill's Diner, the Corner Deli for your morning coffee, and the Daymark restaurant for dinner. The rental was ideal for our visiting family. There is plenty of room in the spacious common area for family dinners and get-togethers. It has all the necessary amenities for a stay on the island and Maria, the owner, was lovely, easy to work with and easy to reach at all times.

This was our second time renting this home. We rented in August and had a wonderful stay. This house comes w linens and towels along w many other staples so you actually feel on vacation, we have young children and to pack less is always helpful. We are walking distance to the lighthouse and various nature trails ( also a kid plus ) walking to the local deli coffee and great restaurants. The only negative is the distance to beach but there is a trolley. We also rented bikes in the summer and rode to an easier entrance( 9th ave). The ocean can be rougher in barnegat as well. This house is wonderful and to echo above reviews the owner Maria is kind and great to work with, and the house is great for our kids.(They love the Life is Good store)

Long Beach Island has two tales-the North End and the town of Barnegat Light with the quiet giant "Old Barney" that baths in sunlight by day or moonlight by night. We've been renting different houses now for several years and this house fit the bill perfect-The 6th street home sits within the boundaries of bay and ocean is well hidden but well situated for walks to the beach/ice cream/Jens Links Mini Golf (best kept secret on LBI) or the town bandshell were you can sit and relax and listen to one of the great local bands while the sun sets over glorious Barnegat Bay! The house is absolutely spotless. Well appointed and very easy on the feet with the beauty of wooden floors. Access to the garage and the smart house options are great benefit. Plenty of parking. Great for a family fun. Bike rentals are available down the street. Fresh fish come in off the docks daily. Seems like a week just isn't enough! The host Maria is very receptive and accessible. See you next year!

The house was wonderful and we particularly enjoyed the large common area and deck. Maria was a great host who communicated very well and often. Although the house is very close to town, it seemed very secluded.
