Four bedroom, two bath (renovated Jan. 2023), upper/lower level duplex just five houses to the beach (each unit is 2 bedrooms 1 full bath, family room and kitchen – rent 1 unit or both). $4,250 per unit or $8,500 for entire house. DOG FRIENDLY!! Gorgeous fenced in backyard with plenty of shade, privacy, and room for entertaining. Outdoor Living with gas fire pit, (2) outdoor gas grills, (2) charcoal grills, (2) outdoor showers (1 for each unit), illumination lighting & new landscaping/hardscaping with tropical plants & gorgeous palm trees - are we in NJ?
This lovely, fully renovated and newly furnished beach house, is close to all the entertainment in the heart of Beach Haven - miniature golf, restaurants, bars, shopping, and amusements (10 minute walk or 5 minute bike).
Bedrooms have Pergo flooring and all have central air conditioning. Each level (unit) contains living room, dining nook and kitchen with full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave and fully equipped appliances and houseware necessities. For your convenience, there is a common area washer/dryer and ice maker on property.
Relax on the recliner or hammock overlooking the mature trees, newly landscaped backyard or under the awning on the upper level or in our spacious screened in porch on the lower level. Are the kids playing out front? No worries...have a seat on the rocking chairs and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Just five houses from the beach, this property has all the amenities of a five-star hotel with the charm of a Victorian lodge. All bedrooms have 43" Samsung Smart TVs and bedside USB charging outlets for all your devices. Living Rooms have newly installed Samsung Smart TVs (65" bottom unit & 55" top unit). The screen porch and upper deck also have flat screen TVs for all your entertainment needs. Each floor has its own dining and outdoor living space with the entire back yard open for fun and games.
This fully renovated property sleeps up to 16 (6-8 per unit). Master bedroom: 1 queen bed; 2nd
bedroom: twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle below. Living room: pull-out couch that converts to full-size bed for two.
House includes the following:

What a week!
Matt's home on Liberty Avenue was fantastic! The location is far enough from the crowds, yet close enough to walk to almost everything. The upper unit was immaculate when we arrived and had all of the amenities we needed for the week. The covered outdoor patio was put to great use, especially by our little terrier. You can't beat the proximity to the beach, especially if you have young kids. Matt was extremely responsive both before and after our stay. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic Beach Haven House
We've stayed at several properties on the island over the years and this was our favorite. It's only blocks from Beach Haven proper with its shops and Fantasy Island, but quiet enough to make you feel like it's just you and the ocean. The house is adorable--the interior was comfortable and had everything you could want in a beach house, and the amenities were amazing. Having everything you need there (surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas), was the icing on the cake. Also, the large outdoor deck with a substantial awning, gave us an extra room to enjoy rain or shine. And the enclosed back yard was gorgeous, with tons of seating and a fire pit. All in all we couldn't have asked for more and we'll definitely be coming back!

We have spent our last 3 years at this location and love it! Adorable yard, clean and well maintained. They supply everything you need for your beach vacation. It is within walking biking distance to the center of Beach Haven and on the beach block.

Beach Haven Oasis!
Matt’s property is absolutely gorgeous and the house looks like a charming little slice of New Orleans! I cannot understand the modernity of the interior of the home — all appliances, fixtures, furniture and decor were up to date / clean. Having central air was awesome. We stayed on the first floor and had the benefit of using the screened porch in the yard on rainy nights. The backyard is LOVELY! You really never need to leave the house but the main shops and restaurants of beach haven are a 3-5 minute drive away. The house is literally steps from the beach and Matt provides all chairs, badges, and even toys etc. for kids. Would love to return and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a modern home with a backyard that’s a few feet from the beach. OH, and we were even able to bring our beautiful dog with us! Thanks so much Matt!!!

Lovely
We enjoyed our stay upstairs at 225 Liberty VERY much. The convenience of having bikes and umbrellas and chairs for use was an added plus. The house has been freshly renovated and is clean well equipped. The owner was terrific to work with around any questions and minor issues (lights etc) and always responded quickly to texts or emails. The backyard is beautiful, though as upstairs renters we were less inclined to use the space than one probably would as a downstairs renter. The interior space is not huge but the big back porches give you a whole other living area and of course the backyard too. 2 Outdoor showers were also a plus and its just 7 houses from our most favorite beach in Beach Haven. Amazing beach retreat!
Incredible home with a superb back yard. This dog friendly home has so much to offer. We stayed for a week in September with our dog. The yard is fully fenced in, beautifully furnished and illuminated with multiple areas for seating, dining and relaxing. The home comes with all you need for a fun week at the beach...umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, bikes. Large televisions in bedrooms and living room, also a tv out on the deck! I can't say enough about how wonderful this home is...enjoy!

Perfect for families!
I can’t say enough good things about 225 Liberty! We came with my kiddos and a pup and stayed on the lower level. The backyard was perfect for our pup and the kids to hang outside. It’s not far from the beach at all, a quick walk and we were there. One thing I loved a mom with two kids is the house came with everything we needed for the beach! You don’t need to bring chairs, boards, umbrellas, a cart. It’s all there for you. We also celebrated my sons birthday when we were there, he has a few friends come down to visit for the day and they all had a bike to ride, courtesy of the house. We also rented a golf cart which can only be ridden in beach haven so the location was perfect to go back and forth to fantasy island and bay village. Matt was also able to accommodate an early check which was greatly appreciated with the kiddos!! Highly recommend staying here!

Easy vacation spot w great outdoor living space!
The house is beautiful w a newly renovated bathroom. Steps to the beach and a wonderful outdoor space for the kids to play. We cooked every meal while on vacation and the kitchen is fully stocked w all the equipment that made cooking easy. The house is also stocked w bikes and beach chairs that make it very easy to just show up and enjoy vacation :). The hosts are amazing! Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Perfect Spot!
We just loved Mike's lovely cottage in Beach Haven. It had everything we needed plus the location is just perfect. Great gourmet shops around the corner and uncrowded beach! It was very peaceful and
the absolutely perfect back yard area for our dog and us! It's hard to find a rental property with a fenced area for your dog and this was just perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back now that we found the perfect spot. Thank you Mike for sharing your delightful cottage!
