This listing is for the first floor of the duplex, please check the final picture of the house which shows the most recent rates and availability of our our listings. There is another listing, 512, which is another beachfront duplex about 3 blocks North of this house in Harvey Cedars.

Both the floors of 512 are available for rent. This duplex in Harvey Cedars is slightly smaller with 3 bedrooms per floor but it has more deck space. To see this replace the 1366 in your url bar with 512.

Regarding this house (listing 1366), the decks are great! Plenty of furniture: tables, chairs, and lounges. And the private walk makes it super easy to come back from the beach for a drink, snack or so everyone can have lunch. We also have lighting to stay out at night.

We pride ourselves in keeping our house in great working order and making it as comfortable for our guests as we can. Our contact information is in the house. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything during you stay. If you have any feedback or suggestions we are happy to hear. Through the years we implemented many suggestions such as adding outside lighting on the deck on the first floor, adding a ceiling fan, or things as simple as labeling the light switches for the living area.



The Beach At This House

There are so few people in the area due to how thin the island is here; the island is only 2 blocks from bay to beach making for much less crowded beach days. Though there are still life guards nearby; they set up their guarding stands so that the private walk feeding into the beach is almost in the swim zone. We also supply 8 seasonal beach badges.


LBI Shuttle Service

The great benefit of our home's location is that it allows you significant privacy, but its just a short ride to most of the island’s main attractions. It runs along the Boulevard for the whole island. Just flag it down at end of the driveway on Long Beach Boulevard. It will take you wherever you want to go for $2! When you're ready to come home you can just catch the shuttle back.

They run from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The shuttle schedule changes year to year but is typically something like

- 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday thru Thursday
- 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM Thursday thru Saturday


Rules and Regulations … These don’t mix well with vacation so we try to keep this simple.

- The payment schedule we run on is 50% of the rent a few weeks after signing the rental agreement and the other 50% of the rent along with a security deposit and beach badge deposit about 45 days before your check-in.




Check-Out Process

We provide house keeping services at the end of your stay, but we ask that you leave our home in good order by doing the following:
- Beds made
- Trash emptied
- Dishes in dishwasher and ran
- Furniture and all other items in the location you found them in

Awesome house and location

We had an amazing week at this home. Intend to stay again next summer! Some perks:
-King in master with deck to see perfect sunset view of bay
-Lots of empty cabinets in kitchen to store food for the week
-Great oceanfront location, with beach not busy at all
-Owners were so easy to work with and kind

FAMILY TRADITION. NEVER DISAPPOINTED

We have been coming to this property for over forty years. My mother has passed but we brought my new grandson here in June. Four generations good. I love this home away from home. I could tell you about all of the amenities but just imagine the best and you will find it here

Great for families!

We have been coming here for about five years and we are never disappointed. The house sits alone on its lot so we are right on the beach and don’t have any other home behind us. There is always plenty of space (we bring 6-9 people) and the home is quite comfortable. Sitting in North Beach, we have easy access to dining, shopping, and attractions, but the immediate area is quiet and relaxing. It is a great place for families.

on the Beach at North Beach

This property sits on the beach which gives you direct access to the beach but one of the best things is that it has an elevator which is very helpful in getting items from the wonderful, spacious private parking to the first floor. The bedrooms are very roomy, bright and well appointed. The kitchen is large with modern appliances and a large refrigerator with french doors. The countertops are granite and there is a breakfast bar. There is a large kitchen table in the dining area. It was a very comfortable house to stay in and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. It has 2 1/2 baths which is an additional convenience. We would definitely recommend this property for all types of renters.
