Welcome to our recently purchased, classic Beach Haven home! The interior has been updated with all the important things: fresh white paint, brand new carpet (perfect for babies and crawlers--super clean!), new stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite countertops, new light fixtures/window treatments/dishes/cookware plus new furniture and mattresses. The decor and house are totally kid-friendly and with an owner who is design-obsessed, we're always up to something! The house is only 1 block to the beach and just a few blocks away from all the fun in Beach Haven--Fantasy Island, Bay Village, etc. The 2-car garage will be empty and ready for your full use--plenty of room to park your car and store all of your beach items. 6 Beach tags included. Extra refrigerator in the garage.
Do you have a guest for whom steps are an issue? No problem--there are only 3 to get inside AND a primary BR is located on the first floor. Do you have a pack of small kids who love to sleep in bunk beds? There are 3 sets! Might your people need to spread out for some quiet time after a long beach day? Choose from the large living room, enclosed porch or the large roof deck for your relaxing needs.
Here's how the bedrooms are organized:
1) Primary BR on 1st floor (Queen) with attached shower/toilet
2) Primary BR on 2nd floor (King) with attached powder room
3) Bunk Room: 2 sets of twin bunks (sleeps 4)
4) Twin Room: 2 twin beds (sleeps 2)
5) Bunk/Twin Room: 1 twin bunk and 1 twin bed (sleeps 3).
Linens, bedding/pillows, and towels are not provided. Our preferred supplier of linens and other beach items is LBI Dreammakers. Discounted rates are available--please discuss with us before booking to ensure a discount is applied.
Leases/payments/key distribution will be handled by BHG Real Estate/Murphy & Co. Owner will put you in touch with the realtor after we chat.

We came to this beautiful house for a quick weekend get away. The house is awesome!! There is such great space for our family to hang or watch tv or play games. Sturdy and comfortable bunk beds galore. The kids were so excited and struggling to pick which would be best. The roof deck is my favorite spot for morning tea, lunch break or take out for dinner where you can hear the waves crashing a block away. The kitchen has everything we could need. Beds were comfortable. House is spotless. Owners are wonderful, responsive and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

We decided to take advantage of the pandemic and remote school and remote work and book an off-season week in LBI. We were so pleasantly surprised by how easy it was at the beach! We stayed at 202 Chatsworth and loved every second. The huge garage and second fridge were game changers. We left bikes and scooters and kites in the garage and ready to go during lunch breaks and after school. Kids were still able to splash in the water a bit and fly kites at the beach - only a block away. We took bike rides into town (5 minute ride) where some stores were still open and of course, Country Kettle Fudge. The house itself was spotless with lots of windows for fresh air and light. There was plenty of space to set up desk areas for school and work. Internet was strong and we didn’t have any issues with multiple live-streaming classes and Zoom meetings. Beds are comfortable and plentiful. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We cooked some and did takeout too. LBI is beautiful in the fall and there was plenty to see and do along with school and work. The house is great and so wonderfully comfortable for families. We loved the sunroom and the cafe lights and second floor deck is huge and great for a quick screen break, dinner, or a hang after the kids were in bed. Owners were so helpful. We will definitely do this again!!

We're a family of four, and we had plenty of room in what we're now calling "our place." We managed to stay alive while working and schooling virtually, because we were able to get out of each other's ways and the WiFi worked flawlessly. 202 Chatsworth is tastefully decorated, clean and uncluttered. Everything is new: paint, carpet, appliances, furniture! We've stayed in other spots on LBI, but there's no going back now: this area of Beach Haven is it. We biked everywhere, one street quainter than the next. I highly recommend this house: your toughest decision will be whether to drink your coffee/wine in the adorable, tucked away porch or on the deck.

This renovated home is equipped with everything you need for a restful beach getaway and the location could not be more ideal. We found the house to be tasteful, clean and uncluttered, with plenty of room for kids and adults to enjoy and not be on top of one another. We were a party of 6 with two adults and four tweens and we had plenty of space and then some with two bunks and an entire bedroom unused. The location is ideal -- one block to the quiet beach and in the other direction, shops and restaurants are an easy stroll away. Absolutely nothing was a hassle -- everything was easy, just the way the beach should be. Highly recommend!

We spent a getaway with two families with tweens. The location is perfect for the kids to walk or bike to the nearby shops (not to mention the parents to walk to dinner). Short walk to the beach. The home is equipped with everything you could need, and there is plenty of space for relaxing, indoors in the beautiful screened porch or outdoors on the deck. We will definitely return!

As annual Avalon renters, we we unsure What to expect from LBI. We may never go anywhere else! The town, which is full of plenty to do, is relaxed, the beaches are clean, and the house is beautiful. My husband and I were traveling with our two teenaged daughters, each who brought a friend, and everyone agreed it was the perfect start to our summer. Plenty of space so no one was on top of each other, an awesome second floor deck that the girls loved making Tik-Tok‘s on, and easy access to the beach or some of the things we loved best. We will definitely go back!

This renovated house was the perfect end to our distance learning in June. We couldn’t have been happier with all the updates and plenty of rooms to spread out. The house was close to beach and shopping and we felt so relaxed the minute we arrived. The owners were accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We will be going back next year!

This was a spacious house with plenty of space to store all of our things. It was VERY clean and I felt safe staying there as beaches were just opening up post-Covid. Their Sanitizing process made me feel even more comfortable. I loved the all seasons room as an additional space to hang out, especially if it rains while you’re there. Also loved the rooftop deck with string lights hung around the perimeter. Nice extras such as extra fridge in garage and access to the garage where I could just drop all our things was awesome. is one short block away from the beach, making it so easy for me to take my 5 and 2 year old to the beach on my own- even with all our beach gear. Highly recommend!

Two families with a total of 6 boys (ages 6-14) had plenty of space in the home. The bedrooms are spread out and provide for privacy and a good nights sleep. The roof top deck is a great place for adults to hang at the end of the day once kids have gone to sleep! And just a short stroll to the beach and Bay Village! And super clean! Highly recommend - the process to book is seamless.

We spent a lovely week at this home in 2019. As a lifelong LBIer this house had everything we needed. Clean, stocked kitchen, sunroom for games and puzzles, loads of space to sleep and quiet close walk to the beach. The owner was lovely and available. Will definitely rent again!
