We do expect our renters to leave the house in the same condition as when they arrived. Things put back where they belong, dishes in dishwasher and run. Refrigerator cleaned out, floors broom swept, etc. Common courtesy things. We are all about having a good time and want you to enjoy your stay, but we also want our next renters to experience the same.

This house is great for kids of all ages, even the "older" kids will have a great time. The 5 bedrooms gives everyone a place to get away if they want and the large open concept first floor allows everyone to be together as well.

Gorgeous house

Our family stayed at Don & Monica’s lovely home in Brant Beach. It was by far one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. It is all new and beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. 3 full baths - again, spotless. We were SO comfortable here and sad when our time was over.

I’d like to especially point out that this house was very easy for the 2 members of our family with mobility issues. 2 of the bedrooms are downstairs and the downstairs bath has a large step-in shower with a pebble floor, handrail and removable shower head with hose (this alone made this mama of a disabled teen very happy.) *Also, full paved walkway through stone yard to steps (again, this makes getting around so much safer and easier for those with mobility issues.)

Bonus is the Island Market next door that my family visited every day for either breakfast sandwiches or lunch.
Don was so easy to communicate with and very helpful.
I can’t say enough nice things about this house and location and we hope to be able to visit again.

best time of year

This IS the best time of the year and this house is very nice. The attention to detail is obvious and owner was great to work with. We had a great time and hope to return again next year. We highly recommend this house.

I can't say enough nice things about this house and about the owners. The house is wonderful. We have vacationed many places throughout the years and one of our favorites is LBI. We now have a favorite place to stay on LBI as well. One of our family members has issues walking and the wheelchair lift to the first floor made it so easy. No big production trying to get her up and down the stairs. Made life just that much easier. You don't find many homes around here with elevators or lifts for this price. WHAT A BONUS....
The fenced in back yard was also great for our bikes, beach wheelchair and all our beach toys. Never worried about things not being there in the morning.
Once inside the house, it is beautiful. More bedrooms and bathrooms than we are used to, what a treat. I could go on and on but all I can say is check this place out. The owner, Don was great. Because of our concerns as to whether the house would be complete by our arrival date, I probably talked/texted him around 20-25 times and never once did I get the feeling I was bothering him. Always reassuring and always super pleasant...…. Not sure if LBI is in the cards for next year, but if it is, we will be booking this house again.

Delightful, well-appointed house that met all our needs

Terrific house with great amenities. The recent renovations were well planned and the house is very comfortable and attractive as a result. Open kitchen/living area was great for our family of five plus friends who came by to visit. Fenced-in gravel yard includes an outdoor dining area that seats 10 (we squeezed in 12) and a new high-capacity gas grill. Ample space for bike-parking and beach gear storage, all safely within the fenced garden. Nice outdoor shower. Just outside the gate is parking for up to 5 cars depending on size. Bedrooms are comfortable and well-appointed (and all but one have a/c), and the bathrooms are well laid-out and bright. Master suite shower is exceptional. Updated w/d on second floor (very convenient), good TVs throughout, and a very cook-friendly kitchen with good appliances and plenty of working space. State-of-the-art hot water system can keep up with all of your post-beach showers. Pride of ownership is clear in every corner of the house, and the owners were a pleasure to work with. 75 paces to the beach. House is remarkably quiet given that it fronts on the Boulevard. which shows that good soundproofing materials were used in the renovation. In all, an excellent family rental, highly recommended. We hope to return next summer.

FULL DISCLOSURE....I did not stay here but please read why. When I was looking for a place early summer, this house was finishing up renovations. I talked to Don (owner) and he assured me that it would be ready. With 3 generations spending a week at the beach, I was concerned that if it wasn't ready we would have no place to go. My correspondence with Don went back and fourth for about a week and although he was confident, I wasn't. I booked another place. Last Saturday, the day we were leaving I was very surprised to get a call from Don asking if I was still on the island and would I like to come over and see his place. Only a couple blocks away and just packing cars to leave I said sure and walked over to his house. WOW...I WISH I HAD LISTENED. This place is amazing. The old LBI charm of a cape outside with a completely renovated home on the inside. I couldn't believe how roomy and spacious the inside is and the renovations are amazing. This house has 3 new bathrooms and all the rooms have been renovated with such great care. Far nicer than the place we rented this year. Needless to say, if we decide to vacation on LBI next year, we will be staying here.

We have vacationed on LBI for many years now and this is my new favorite place to stay. Other years (mainly because of price) we have stayed Bay side and have enjoyed our stay, but this year we crossed over to ocean side and what a difference. This house is close enough to the beach that we were back and forth as needed. Go back to the house to eat, use the bathroom or nap and then back to the beach, even if it was just to sit for a short time after dinner. The walk is only about a minute. No fighting traffic crossing the main drag.
The house is newly renovated and all the furnishings look brand new except for a few old pieces which the owner said she kept for sentimental reasons. I like that they haven't loaded it down with a lot of STUFF that just gets in the way. The whole house feels open and airy. I never felt like we were getting in each others way. Overall a great house to vacation in. I do want to mention the back yard.....We had 4 cars with us and we could have fit another one if needed. Plenty of parking. The yard is plenty large and private for outdoor dining and family game nights. This year, we crossed over to the ocean side and we are not going back. We have found our new favorite LBI rental for years to come......
