Description
Perfectly situated just six houses from the bay and eight houses from the ocean! Water in both directions and easy access to both. Take your pick, many different activities to choose from, and gorgeous views from the roof deck!
This is the entire second floor of a duplex house with a nicely furnished roof deck, and a second rear deck off the kitchen. Both decks are private to this unit. The house is located on a great residential street, very little vehicle traffic, and at the end of the street is a public park complete with a 700-ft long stretch of sand along the bay, kid's playground, tennis court and basketball court. At the other end is the beautiful ocean beach that LBI is known for. Walk with the kids to the bay or the ocean, bike around the neighborhood, play at the bayfront park, or venture into nearby downtown Beach Haven.
This is an updated unit with central A/C, new furnishings throughout, large-screen TV and high-speed wireless internet. The rear deck off the kitchen has flexible table seating and a Weber gas grill, great for outdoor meals, and you'll have shade there during the afternoon to take a break from the sun.
In the evening head up to the large roof deck to enjoy the amazing sunsets over the water on the bayside! The roof deck is fully furnished with a large dining table set and separate conversation furniture set for dinner and relaxing after a long day at the beach.
There are two beach cruiser bikes available for your use during your stay. Lots of folks start the day on LBI with a leisurely bike ride, run or walk up and down the main boulevard. And since this is the southern-most part of the island (less than 1/2 mile to the nature preserve at the end), vehicle traffic in the morning is light and there are more pedestrians and bikers than cars.
This unit has a private outdoor shower on the ground floor and four off-street parking spaces.

The home is just 2 miles from downtown Beach Haven, including Fantasy Island, Bay Village, Thundering Surf, several mini-golf courses, ice cream galore, and many of the best restaurants and bars on the island.
Please note this is a family rental, the sleeping arrangements are best suited for up to 4 adults and 3 kids (7 guests max). We require a photo ID and do not rent to high school or college+ groups.

This is a second floor unit with only stair access. There is also a roof deck with only stair access.

Excellent Girls' weekend on LBI!
We had a fantastic weekend at 13 Joan Road. The house was immaculate and cozy, great location with a quick and easy walk to the beach. Michael was so accommodating and great to work with, available for questions before and during the trip! We would absolutely come back and stay here again and I highly recommend this property to others!

Wonderful family vacation
We had a great week at Mike's place. His home was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed for our beach stay, including great extras like beach cruiser bikes, chairs, umbrellas, and games for the kids. The house location is perfect at the south end of the island on a peaceful block, very close to both the ocean and bay. The roof top deck is fantastic and provides great additional space for your family and guests. The sunset views from the roof are amazing. Mike was an extremely gracious host. I knew from the start that we were in good hands. His communication was excellent and the pride in ownership of his home is apparent immediately when you enter. The unit has many great updates and is comfortable and tastefully appointed. I highly recommend and we look forward to returning again next season.

Comfortable and great location!
House is located in a fantastic spot! Close enough to the beach and the bay! Roof deck was amazing! House was more than large enough for our family of 5! Plenty of toys and games for little ones. Mike was extremely responsive while booking and while we were at the house! Looking forward to coming back!

Great House!
Great house, great location! Nicely appointed and clean. The rooftop deck is awesome, bay is a few houses away, and the ocean only a couple minutes walk. Owner was responsive and friendly. Looking forward to returning soon!

Awesome house, Great Location!!!!
We stayed at Michaels house for 4 weeks this past August(2018). The house is great, the location is fantastic, and the island keeps getting better & better!!
Michael was very accessible during our stay and really made our summer vacation wonderful. We will be coming back for sure in 2019!!!!

Great summer stay with kids!
This was our first vacation with our twin 3-year olds. The house was clean with perfect accommodations. Enough room for our family of four and great location! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the playground both by the bay and about a mile down the street. Bay Village was close enough for evening visits without being exposed to the noise when we enjoyed the sunset on the rooftop deck. Actually the rooftop was perfect for morning coffee, drinks during naptime, and sunset views. We will definitely be back next summer!!!!!

Great house, great rooftop deck
We had such an amazing time at this house. Close to the beach and the bay in a nice quiet area. Great rooftop deck with great views. We would definitely book again. The house had everything you would need on your summer vacation, even had bikes included so we didn't need to rent any. Would recommend this place to family & friends.

Great location, very comfortable home.
Perfect location, beautiful views from the roof deck. The two bikes made it easy to get to Bay Village and other sites. The house was incredibly well stocked, the kitchen had everything we needed as did the shed full of chairs and sand toys. We really enjoyed our week!

Beautiful apartment. Great location.
We had an amazing time and didn't have to worry about anything. Beautiful apartment. Lots of space. Great beds. Great location. Breakfast on the roof deck every morning. Fully equipped, inside and out. BBQ, lounge chairs and dining table on the roof deck, bicycles, and everything you need for a day at the beach. Mike did not miss a thing and communication was great. I cannot say enough about this property. Our weekend was so relaxing and carefree. All we talked about on the way home was when we can return. Thanks Mike.

Clean, very comfortable with a great location
We had a great stay. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. It had everything there that we needed and more. The owners were very attentive to all our questions. But the best part for me was the rooftop lounge area. It was so relaxing with a beautiful view. Very recommended
