This Sunday TO Sunday Rental (in 4pm/ out 10am) is located in Beach Haven’s lovely Historic District, a block to the beach and minutes from all restaurants and shops.
Custom furnished by a local designer, the Beach Haven Belle has open spaces that are festooned with porches bordered by front and back gardens. This ultimate beach cottage is rented on a weekly basis in high season and a three-night minimum in the off-season, this five-bedroom beach house is tastefully designed and appointed in keeping with the period of its neighboring Victorian Grande Dames.
The Beach Haven Belle's style marries traditional and contemporary in a warm open plan that accommodates an extended family sharing in five spacious bedrooms and two distinct and spacious living spaces that flow seamlessly to the outdoor garden “room” behind the house. Three full baths, an open-plan kitchen, laundry room, outdoor bathhouse, and a detached garage complete this old-style beach house custom built for the most discerning of contemporary beachcombers.
Reclaimed wood plank walls, aged zinc counters, 100-year-old barn wood scraped red oak floors, an Aga gas range, retro light fixtures, and a sailboat and lighthouse bunk bed for kids combine to make this truly a one of a kind designer-built gem.
It has a full front porch, all new baths, custom cabinetry made from reclaimed wood and all new appointments hand-picked by the designer. Vintage restored original furniture pieces were collected from antique dealers in Hudson, New York and up and down the East Coast.
In the kitchen, plank walls stained and painted to simulate driftwood, period-style moldings, interior restored windows with original mullions came from a Virginia Farmhouse and traditional mullion, Dade-County-rated storm windows and glass doors are throughout the rest of the house, custom wooden cabinetry and a nautical staircase with semi-open risers were made by local artisans. The best of old and new typifies this stormproof beauty that is the perfect beach home for a large family or for those hoping to make memories with visiting extended family or friends.

We had a great trip. The house is beautiful and spacious! Location, location, location...a block from the beach overlooking the park, two blocks from the market and restaurants, multiple ice cream choices right near by. Caroline (the owner) has done a spectacular job renovating the house and has all the necessities waiting for you from toilet paper to spices. We will definitely be back to stay at 118 Amber!

We just returned from a wonderful weeklong stay. The home was recently renovated from top to bottom. The decor is truly special and the home is well appointees with everything you could ask for. The owners were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location can't be beat. The beach is a lovely stroll up the street and all of the attractions of Beach Haven are a short walk or bike ride away. I hope to return soon!

The Beach Haven Belle is so aptly named, living up to the image its name implies of beauty, charm, and substance, while leaving an impression on its guests of sincere hospitality from the first step onto the hydrangea-graced porch. It is such a pleasure to stay in a home whose owners care so deeply about the design, quality, comfort, convenience and care of it. Our family had a wonderful time in Beach Haven and felt nothing but at ease in this home, a true vacation! It is very well-equipped and the owners are generous with the provision of home, as well as beach, amenities. This is a vacation home that guests who fly to the area would find truly accommodating! Of great significance to our entire family is the fact that we did not need to drive a car for the entire week we were there. The house is incredibly convenient to all that Beach Haven has to offer. It is an easy stroll to the beach, and we walked to every restaurant, park, playground, ice cream shop, grocery store and of course, the favored Pearl Street Market, just around the block. Back at the house, the inviting front porch was a favorite morning and evening spot, as was the dining and sitting area in the back of the house. It is such a comfort to arrive from the beach, also, to the beautiful patio out back. The outdoor shower is always a great hit! Settling down and waking up in such lovely and comfortable bedrooms truly enhanced our entire stay. We all still talk about our stay in Beach Haven Belle as we reminisce or speak to others about the area, and we are so grateful to have found this house and these owners.

From the moment we arrived at this charming and beautifully designed seashore cottage, we were spellbound. How often do advertised photographs meet with expectation?! This lovely airy home complete with fresh hydrangea from the garden definitely fits the bill. With amenities for a carefree vacation at the shore and a fully equipped home for family life and entertaining, the Beach Haven Belle was a perfect match for our three generation family. Located in the charming and wonderfully maintained historic neighborhood in Beach Haven, we enjoyed the nearby Pearl Street Market, a neighborhood park, a play structure at a local church, and a very short walk to the dunes and beach. Our only wish was that we could stay for another week. We also had the fortunate opportunity to meet the hospitable and very gracious owners of the property, which made our stay even more welcoming and enjoyable. If you are looking for the charm and air of the seashore in a fabulous cottage, this is the place. You will not be disappointed!

Once again, we greatly enjoyed our stay at this property in the heart of Beach Haven. It's hard to imagine a more perfect location: a block from the beach, a block from from restaurants, mini-golf, ice cream shops, the incredible Pearl Street Market, tennis courts, baseball/LAX fields, surf shop, and bike/board rentals. Venture over another block and it's Murphy's grocery store, and the all that Beach Haven has to offer for restaurants (The Oyster Bar, The Black Whale, Buckalew's, etc.) and shops such as How to Live. Having three teenagers and a tween, there is no shortage of things to keep them busy that are also very close by. That makes for a much more enjoyable vacation for the parents, too. That being said, we've had a number of visitor come in and say, "this beach house would be perfect for a girls' getaway." Agreed. But I think it has appeal for just about any family or group. But if you don't want to move an inch, this beach house is an absolute beautiful, one-of-a-kind property with a restful back patio to lounge in or have a family meal. The bedrooms are spacious with ceiling fans and large beds. The design throughout the house is so appealing: sort of a French country living meets the Shore. In the evening, it all looks a bit magical with the special lighting elements. Everything you need is there, including beach badges and beach chairs for all. The neighboring homes are also quite nice, and so it has a quiet small town America feel to the block, yet it is just a few blocks from the very center of the Beach Haven nightlife. Moreover, the property owner is always attentive, prompt, and easy to work with. It's been a pleasure. After staying here two summers in a row (and having stayed in many other homes in Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars, and Surf City over the years), I can't imagine a better spot to enjoy LBI. Until next year, Beach Haven...
