If you’re looking for a mix of beach fun and entertainment, a vacation rental in the tiny borough of Haven Beach might be your pick for an LBI rental house.

Wake up to a morning jog, a brisk walk, or bike ride on Beach Ave., a safe, residential road that runs north to south from the northern border of Brighton Beach to the southern border at Pehala Park. Grab breakfast and coffee at Jersey Girl and then hit the beach. Haven Beach has fantastic sandy beaches for action or just lounging. Marked by the flags, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing are allowed outside the swimming areas.

This is also home to Black Sheep Studios, LBI’s cutting edge exercise studio.

When you’ve had enough sun and surf, maybe it’s time for some sailing or paddleboarding. This is one of the skinniest stretches of Long Beach Island where the bay and ocean are a mere two blocks away.

Afternoon shopping? Haven Beach is home to one of LBI’s coolest boutiques - the Sink R’ Swim Mens Shop, a clothing shop that has become very popular with LBI watermen.

You can finish your day at Nardis, a longtime favorite restaurant and tavern known for live music and late night parties.

Haven Beach is part of Long Beach Township, a collection of the neighborhoods that were incorporated into one municipality in the 1800s. Today, it’s a fantastic summer getaway for families who have been coming to LBI for generations or those who are brand new to the Island.
