Brighton Beach, LBI
All sun and no stress
It’s no secret that Brighton Beach Surf Shop would be located in Brighton Beach. But did you know it was originally called Brant Beach Surf Shop and has a past tied to New Jersey surfing history going back to the 1940s?
From your Brighton Beach vacation, you can stop in the shop and see surfboards from every era. Or head up to the beach for swimming, sunbathing and surfing anywhere outside the flags.
Brighton Beach is one of the tiny neighborhoods that are all part of Long Beach Township. During the summer, it’s family fun, gorgeous views and countless recreational activities on the beach and bay. And since this one of the most narrow points on LBI, from any rental home it’s a short walk to the beach or bay. For such a small neighborhood, you can also walk to Angelina’s Restaurant for Italian or Pinky Shrimp’s Seafood Company for picnic-style seafood.
The name of the game for vacationers here is convenience, as it’s located conveniently between Bayview Park near the town’s municipal complex in Brant Beach to the north and all the action and entertainment of Beach Haven to the south. Why spend your entire holiday sitting in the car?
Brighton Beach is also home to the Acme, Long Beach Island’s biggest supermarket, complete with pharmacy, fish counter, deli, and any grocery you might possibly need, within a few blocks.
