LBI Cottage

Our stay at this home was excellent from start to finish. This home was exceptionally clean and updated, close to all restaurants and the beach was walking distance. Everything we needed was already in the house from kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes, beach chairs and boogie boards. The Weber BBQ in the yard came in very handy. Sunrise with coffee and sunsets with a cold beer on the top deck was priceless and the outdoor shower was very convenient. I highly recommend staying at this charming cottage.

A great vacation

We had a great family vacation in Ship Bottom! The house was very clean and extremely comfortable! We were a very short walk to the beach, great restaurants, shopping and ice cream! We had great weather and a wonderful time!

Amazing location, super clean, everything you need, fantastic owners!!

We had the best week staying here. The house is sparkling clean, kitchen has absolutely everything you could need, tons of outdoor seating (on the roof deck and back yard), beach passes, chairs, cart, toys, etc The owners, Danny and Diana, were amazing as well...so accommodating, available and willing to help to make our stay seamless. The house is on the small side but doesn't feel that way with the layout (the upstairs room was perfect for kids - TV, bean bags, etc) and all of the outdoor options. 100% recommend this house!

Your OWN COMPLETE HOME Away From Home

I wanted to write this review to help future renters from OVER packing during COVID-19. DO bring your own pillows, sheets and blankets = COVID -19 safe measures.

The location is MINT- blocks from EVERYTHING! (As of 6/20/2020, MANY biz are OPEN within walking distance- Surf Taco, BagelEddies, Ship Bottom Shellfish, 3-4 liquor stores, etc.).

Enter on the island and you are blocks to house! The house is EXACTLY as described and pictured - 2 bedrooms with full beds & closets. 2nd bedroom has a twin bed above full and TV with DVD player. One bathroom with shower. Downstairs has outside shower that is super convenient when returning from ocean beach that is a block away.

Upstairs dormer has plenty of “fun” room for older children to play video games on TV, 2 bean bag chairs and a separate A/C unit.

The new fenced yard (attached to house) is HUGE and offers plenty of space to BBQ on a newer Weber grill, sit at a large table that easily seats 8 and a HUGE umbrella that covers it all! There are also 4 lounge chairs and 2 anti-gravity lounge chairs for additional sunning!

Kitchen is FULLY stocked-many types of deep pots and sauté pans, large serving bowls & dishes, MANY utensils, extras like “sun tea” pitcher, medium-sized cooler, insulated pitcher, blender, Keurig coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, FULL knife set...I overpacked. This shore house has it ALL!

For the beach, you have at least 6 beach chairs to choose from, 2 beach umbrellas and 2 beach carts to carry it all.

Danny is quick to respond to ANY inquiry you might have and we will DEFINITELY be renting this wonderful spot again! Worth EVERY PENNY!!

Fabulous vacation

First I want to start off with saying Danny is by far the easiest rental we’ve have ever dealt with, always answered my questions with a quick and timely matter. The house is cleaned and my boys had a fabulous time. Having the roof deck was great. We highly recommend renting this house!!!!

Convenient, easy with small children, perfect, cozy

Danny and Diana throught of everything. Couldn't be cozier, cuter, cleaner, or more comfortable. My 7 year old twins especially loved the bunk beds! Perfect!!!

Nice clean house

House was very clean, close to the beach, stores, and restaraunts. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain, but still enjoyed our week. Loved the grill and used it several times. Fresh seafood was available at several stores close by.
Danny was fantastic. Very responsive and helpful to all my questions.

Thank you for the great review! Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, but we make up for it with amenities. No one wants bad weather during their vacation. But when it hits we are prepared to help you make the best of it. There is a full complement of prime entertainment, barbecue, games and so much more. Still want to be outside? Mix yourself a cocktail and pull up a chair under the beach house. Kick back and watch the weather pass by. Not enough? Location, location, location. Grab an umbrella and visit any number of stores or restaurants all within a few minutes walk. There's never a shortage of stuff to do. Thank you again for the great review and kind words. Wonderful Labor Day Weekend

Had a great family vacation over LDW. House was cute, clean and in a convenient location. Plenty of walkable bars and restaurants. Beach on 19th Street is also super long and spacious so plenty of spots to go set up shop. We also loved eating on the patio near the grill to get some shade on the hot days. Thanks again!

Thank you for the wonderful review, Lisa! We can't say it enough; this part of Ship Bottom is the best place to be on Long Beach Island. You really are walking distance to anything and everything. Now that the beach house is raised you can enjoy the shade underneath. It's great for dining or just to kick back and relax. You can still enjoy lunch in full sun or a sunset dinner out on the spacious roof deck whenever you like. Thanks again. You and your family are welcome back anytime.

great vacation cottage

nice place , clean , close to beach and Joe Pops , caught lots of fish off the surf , be back down next season for more fishing and R and R

Thank you for the great review, Thomas. It's definitely not a secret that fishing at the end of 19th is some of the best on the Island due to the natural structure that may be off-shore there. It's very well known among the locals and an inquiry in any of the bait and tackle stores on the island will confirm. We've never heard a complaint about fishing there and we've caught our fair share too. Crabbing on the bay side is just as good. You'll do best with a few crab pots but drop lines work just as well and might be a little more fun. Thanks again and you're welcome back any time!
